Directly across the street from the sprawling campus of the Seattle Center, home to the 1962 World’s Fair, KW Intel’s glass office tower rose majestically into the air. It’s seventy stories topped the famous six-hundred-and-five-foot Space Needle built for the fair and offered picturesque views of the Pacific Northwest’s Puget Sound. KW Intel was named for its founders, Kellog and Winston Ang. Born a year apart, the two Chinese Americans had entered MIT at sixteen and fifteen respectively, graduating three years later, one year after they developed an application called Cirrus that allowed users to manage all their cloud storage providers.
