Diadem's Birthright

.....Year 157 BC....... It was another blissful spring day in the Abrar Empire, flowers were in full bloom and butterflies were emerging from their cocoons to take part in the beautiful scenery. Couples and families enjoying dates and picnics while also browsing the booths arranged all over the park. The joyful and peaceful chatter of the people coming from the largest park of the central kingdom located near the royal palace of the Grand emperor, could only signify their participation in the "Founding Day Festival". This Festival is a very important holiday in Abrar. It's a day where both the civilians and royalties gather together in order to celebrate the Founding of the Empire by the All powerful Arahkam also Commonly known as the Founding Father. This celebration signifies the victory of Arahkam in defeating the evil demoness Salzea and sealing her in the deepest part of the highest mountain in Abrar. Therefore freeing the people who were her slaves and founding the Empire. During the coronation of Arahkam as the First Emperor, a priestess from a neighboring kingdom attended the event and upon being treated kindly by the new Emperor decided to grant him a gift by giving him a prophecy about his kingdom. The prophecy says " The kingdom shall be prosperous for a long time but the seal placed upon the evil shall cease to be one day bringing a cloud of darkness upon the whole kingdom leaving it in peril. Hope isn't lost As long as the flame of faith in the heart of at least one citizen still shines brightly then a descendant of Arahkam with powers that unrivaled him shall appear as the savior to bring back light to the darkness infested nation making it prosperous again" Now, Two hundred years later into the future the prophecy has yet to come to pass but the whole empire never forgot about it and always live in fear of it coming to pass but they still celebrate every year and this very year could have ended on a joyous note like others but alas! The seal that had been wearing off gradually, suddenly broke open releasing the darkness which engulfed the whole kingdom leaving it in peril.
