"Speaking of the devil...." Levi muttered looking at Jaxon who's speaking with Liliana.
When Alexa heard Levi's reaction she grinned thinking her best friend is hiding something from her? And knowing Levi's past, she's sure something happened between Levi and Jaxon.
"Levi," she called.
"Yeah?"
"Is there something you're not telling me?" She asked and Levi stiffened.
"What? n-nothing!" Levi answered guiltily.
"Is that so?"
Levi then glared at Alexa, who definitely got the answer she's looking for.
Liliana, Alexa, Jaxon and Levi were all alumni's and acquaintances. They're all best of friends since college and was only separated when Jaxon left the country for his business. Liliana and Alexa were also the only ones who knew about Levi's gender issues and they do not hate him for that, in fact they're just waiting for Levi to accept the truth and open his eyes in reality.
"Hey Jaxon?" Alexa called.
"I see that you and Levi have already met?" She asked and Jaxon nodded.
"He's my employee now." He answered naturally.
"Wow, why didn't you told us Levi?" - Liliana.
"I would tell you guys! I swear, it's just that we met him here," Levi defended himself.
"So, how did you guys meet?" Alexa suddenly asked, which made Levi to almost himself choke to death.
He knew it wasn't a good question to ask and Jaxon himself felt amused seeing Levi burn his cheeks in embarrassment.
Of course Levi wouldn't forget that night, and he's also wondering if Jaxon does too? And he does. He definitely cannot forget the night he came to own Levi's first touch and kiss that's keeping him from wanting more. Only that Levi is very cheeky and hard to get considering their past relationship before, he cannot blame Levi for that since he's the reason Levi hated him.
"Ow, uh, we met on a department store when I was buying stuffs," Levi lied.
Jaxon wanted to smile or laugh though, but he couldn't. He doesn't want Levi to hate him more that made him to play cool and acted like they really have met in a department store.
"Is that true Jaxon?" Liliana asked, and he nodded.
Seeing Jaxon agrees, Levi couldn't help but felt thankful.
"Oh really? How come you didn't text us?" Alexa kept on mocking Levi, who's getting annoyed with his friends intriguing their past relationship together.
"I was very busy okay?" Levi shortly answered and after that Jaxon smirked.
"Why don't we get some drinks? My treat." Jaxon offered so he can spend more time with his friends and with Levi.
"No thanks, I'll pass." Levi declined.
Liliana and Alexa on the other side kept on grinning to themselves seeing the two couple argue with each other. It's been a long time since they saw Levi acted this way, that's why they're very grateful that Levi ended up in Jaxon's hand. They knew about him and they support Jaxon for whatever his plan is with Levi, cause if there's someone they agree to be with Levi, that will definitely be just Jaxon himself.
"It's all right I'm just going to buy lady drinks," Jaxon winked at Levi who's silently swearing at Jaxon.
"Whatever! just buy anything you want, I won't be drinking."
"Oh, come on Levi, don't be such a killjoy!" Alexa said.
"Yeah, besides we only met Jaxon today, as if we will meet him tomorrow? Don't be selfish!" Liliana explained, which Levi turned sighing.
"Well, Duh? Don't you remember? He's my boss? And I will meet him tomorrow." He huffed, which the two lesbians in front kept on laughing. They're positive that Levi wanted to avoid Jaxon that much because he's getting shy and Levi is not great at handling alcohol.
"Fine, just two glasses and I'm done!" Levi surrendered and Jaxon nodded happily.
"One bottle of whisky please!" Jaxon called the bartender.
As they kept on drinking and talking, time passed too quick that all of them started dancing on the floor with the music that's too loud for Levi to hear everyone laughing and enjoying. Jaxon's left on his seat, lost for words as he silently stares. at Levi, who's busy dancing with everyone after being drunk with just two glasses.
'He surely changed a lot' That's what Jaxon thought in mind.
He's way more mature now and very carefree than what he is before, but some parts never really change, just the way Levi looks at him. He's positive that Levi still has feelings for him and he's just denying it because of his pride.
Jaxon made a mistake, and he admits that.
He left Levi hanging when they both started having a relationship. He was not sure if Levi would agree with him being away from him and since Jaxon was diagnosed with cancer. He was fighting for his life and death that he doesn't want Levi to suffer. He carelessly made a choice and when it turned out well, he's now ready to take Levi back.
Honestly, when he met him, he wasn't sure if Levi would accept him. He was wrong to claim Levi without consent, but it's also the prime reason that Levi cannot take his thoughts away from thinking of Jaxon. For him it was a success and was the only easiest way to claim Levi as his own.
"Jaxon come on join us!" Liliana asked and Jaxon refused.
He would likely want to watch Levi from afar, he's drunk that he's not realizing that a random guy picked his attention.
Jaxon's hand immediately closed into a ball the minute he saw that guy touch Levi. He's anger issues are coming back again that he didn't notice that he's walking towards Levi's place and pulled Levi away from that guy's hold.
"Hey, what are you doing, man? Can't you see we're dancing?" The guy complained and Jaxon was definitely pissed off.
"Go dance on your own," He said and glared.
Levi who's out of his senses doesn't know a thing about what's happening, all he knew is that Jaxon is holding him tight.
"Fine, this man's definitely gay," The random guy completely threw racism at Jaxon's face that went him to punch the guy hard on his face.
"What the f**k?!" The guy hissed in pain and everyone's in shock of what's happening.
"Jaxon!" Alexa shouted.
"What's happening?" Levi questioned when he heard the music turn down low.
Liliana and Alexa grab Levi immediately while Jaxon is too busy fighting with the random guy, they admit that Jaxon is strong enough for the guy to blow his lips and spit blood on the floor. If Jaxon wouldn't stop, that guy will sleep in a hospital bed for a week.
