One Mischievous Night

Seeing Levi froze the minute he spoke made Jaxon happy and instead of smiling he grinned at him, making sure that Levi would get his expression and message through his eyes.

"What are you doing?" He asked coldly, his deep voice echoing around the office. 

"N-Nothing, we were just overwhelmed about the project, sir." Robin answered him and the stare at him for a while, it could be possible that this man in front of him might be interested to Levi as well. 

Jaxon huffed the minute he analyzes the situation his bait is into. He then looked at Levi who's face were turning red out of embarrassment. 

"I'd like to see all of you in my office, we have an important thing to discuss." Jaxon commanded. 

"Yes, sir, we'll follow." Levi answered him and Jaxon nodded, which then after immediately left. 

On the other side, the other teams look at Levi's team, very jealous, Levi just got the top investors offer which is a downside to team A, who's leader is very perfectionist and out of character.

"Look at those rats raising their heads as if they're the best team ever," The Team A's leader hissed. 

"Oh, they'll not be staying too long, I'm sure Mr. Jaxon called them because they were a major failure to his company." The members snorted as well. 

Levi who's anxious and worried about what Jaxon's is thinking about kept on walking out of his mind but then that all changed when the investor they were talking about approached and hand shakes them

"This Mr. Lopez, from now on he will ask for your suggestions and ideas. His leading company will be your extra project and I'm looking forward to that." Jaxon introduced, which made Levi's team breathe and happy. 

This is an enormous opportunity to them to be exact, the investors were never impressed by their works due to their team leaders failure and having Levi attract their attention is such a very fascinating move. He made a single project that made everyone wants to collaborate with them. 

"I-I don't know what to say....but thank you Mr. Lopez." Levi answered, overwhelmed. 

"Mr. Carson you have a promising talent and your colleagues,  so I'm looking forward that you could make my new company stand out in Asia." Mr. Lopez requested which Levi agreed to do so. 

"No problem, Mr. Lopez, I'll make sure my team would never disappoint you." Levi remarked and closed the deal after receiving and signed some papers. 

Right now their team has three projects ongoing, and I'm sure Levi would likely meet the deadline just fine. 

Just right after the meeting was closed they returned into their office and there they didn't expect to hear some unpleasant words from the other teams that's ahead of them.

"Look who came back closing a deal, isn't team D amazing?" The leaders from the Team A mocked them. 

"What do you want now?" Zefany asked them while Levi just stared, analyzing the situation that looked so familiar to him. 

"Nothing can't you see we're just happy that your team finally claimed the top after some team leader carried all of your lazy butts." They sneered. 

"I wish I could take their heads off," Amanda hissed, but Robin stopped her. 

"Why do you have to be so insecure? Isn't six years enough for your team achieving the first place?" Robin said pissed off. 

"Insecure? We? Ha haha don't be so ridiculous! Why would we get insecure over a trash that only shined after a social media star appeared?" They continued mocking, which Levi didn't enjoy hearing.

"Really? Cause that of face yours doesn't show any happiness, Dexter." Amanda finally spoke to the team A's leader. 

"If you really are not insecure, why would you attack us? Doesn't that show you're afraid?" Levi butted in having enough mockery. 

"Me afraid? No! My team has always been the best and your talent? It's nothing but trash!" Dexter sneered to Levi, who just smirked. 

"If your talent is better than mine, then why insult others? Doesn't that mean that my works is better than yours? And if it's trash, you shouldn't get too shady about it, cause if you're the best, you'll always remain the best." Levi said to Dexter who was left with ashamed cause he could not say a word. 

"My team don't suck they're the best to be exact, even best then our own best designers can do." Levi remarked then walked pass Dexter, whose face cannot be written. 

"Hah! Show off!" Zefany whispered to Dexter. 

"Who's trash now, huh?" Amanda snickered while Robin just tapped Dexter's back. 

"Ahh you're all still useless!" Dexter screamed and stormed after out of embarrassment. 

"Oh, that feels so much better!" Zefany sighed happily.

"I know right." Amanda said too. 

"So why don't we celebrate?" Robin requested, but Levi refused cause Liliana and Alexa might come soon to pick him up. 

"I have somewhere to go," Levi said to his friends. 

"It's all right we can always have it next time, besides that asshole being turned down sure felt satisfying!" Amanda said while they all smiled. 

"Yeah, that's for keeping on underestimating us, he deserves it a lot!" Zefany hissed.

"Come on now we should get going," Robin said and took all their things to go home. 

'We're here!'-Liliana.

'Okay, I'm coming'- sent. 

Just when Levi came down from the elevator, he saw his best friends Alexa and Liliana waving at him. He quickly went to their car and sat on the driver's seat in order for the two lovers to relax. 

"So where are we heading?" Levi asked. 

"Let's go grab dinner at the bar." Alexa replied, which Levi understood soon. 

When they all got there Alexa immediately ordered a bottle of tequila to drink. Levi tried to stop her though, but she only shoved his hand. 

"Okay, Liliana, what happened?" Levi asked quiet, serious not liking how Alexa is acting. 

"We got fired." Liliana said that made Levi confused. 

"What? How? What did you do?" He asked. 

"Nothing, Rebecca just did." Alexa answered. 

"You know what? I'd like to kick that b***h's face! I swear!" Alexa angrily sneered. 

"Ooh I'll sure rip her skin apart if I could!" Liliana agreed which Levi came to just shake his head. 

"How selfish Rebecca became after reaching the top, she's such a spoiled brat." Levi thought to himself. 

"Anyway, I'm hearing that you're doing well at your fresh job?" Liliana asked, and Levi nodded. 

"It's good there." 

"We're so happy for you." 

Levi couldn't help but feel sad towards his friends. If only he can do something. 

"What about love life? Have you met one?" Liliana started teasing him, which Levi turned glaring at her. 

"What? Come on Levi I know there's a lot of hot and cute men that's just like your type there," Liliana almost screamed which he turned to cover her mouth. 

"Lower down your voice, I didn't meet one." He answered her, but still Alexa was interested in the way Levi spoke.

"But I bump into someone." He continued.

"Really? Who?" Alexa asked. 

"Jax-"

"Hello ladies may I join you?" Jaxon's voice rang out loud inside the bar that Levi's eyes went wide open. 

Is he really seeing Jaxon? In the bar? 

"Omygosh! Jaxon!" Liliana squealed seeing their long-time friend.

"Hmmm interesting..." Alexa turned to whisper at Levi who's just staring at the person next to him.
