....Continuation...
"I can protect you, Levi, if that's what you want."
These words kept on ringing through Levi's head after a few days, and it's making him feel vulnerable. Jaxon did a very tough scene in front of Rebecca that Levi thought it's the actual reason she immediately turned her back.
But he also thought Rebecca only backs away when she feels that a certain person might be a threat. He knows that Rebecca is a very careful person with business and competition, there's must be something that made her feel afraid, and he's sure it's about Jaxon because of the way she reacted when she saw him.
It wasn't out of admiration, Rebecca felt, Levi knew it was out of fear.
"Hey Levi, can you do me a favor?" Zefany called him.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Can you please hand this to Mr.Jaxon? I'm kinda busy with editing stuff, so I guess you can since you're not doing anything now." Zefany then handed him the papers that need Jaxon's signatures.
It's quite a lot that Levi came to have an idea of what Zefany is trying to do.
"Zefany...." He breathes her name suspiciously while she just smiled guiltily.
"Pleasseeeee?"
Levi then sighed.
If only he didn't make things look so obvious.
"Fine, whatever."
"Thank you! Don't worry, I'll treat you coffee after." Zefany said, then returned to her work.
Levi who had no other choice went and took the papers to Mr.Jaxon's office, but when he arrived there, Jaxon was nowhere to be found.
"I better just leave these papers on his table." He says to himself and immediately left when a sudden text message popped on his phone.
Taking a quick look from his phone, he stood there in Jaxon's office for a minute just to read a familiar message that came from an unfamiliar number.
"Just because you think you're superior now, doesn't mean I won't stop." - RBC (red blood cells? LOL!)
Levi clutched his phone the minute he read the message. It's an obvious threat coming from one and only person he knows who can make him angry and mad.
"Rebecca..."
Levi is purely oozing out of anger when the door opens, and it revealed Jaxon.
"What are you doing here?" Jaxon asked Levi out of curiosity.
"I dropped some papers that need your approval," Levi answered out of his mood and Jaxon noticed that.
"Are you alright? You don't seem well."
"I'm fine once you signed the papers I can leave." Levi only said clearly getting bothered by Rebecca's text message.
Jaxon who's not really convince didn't let Levi get the chance to protest when he pulled him closer, to embrace him tight. He knew that Levi is getting bothered by something, it's just that Levi's too prideful to admit it.
"Come on, I hate it when you lie to me." Jaxon said and Levi stiffened.
"I-I'm not."
"You are."
"I'm not."
"Your ears turned red so I know you're not." Jaxon stated, and Levi didn't even bother to talk back since he's guilty.
Jaxon sighed.
"What is it now?" He asked Levi.
"Rebecca texted me a minute ago."
"What did she say?"
"She said just because I think I'm superior now, doesn't mean she won't stop." Levi confessed, then Jaxon tightened his grip.
He's mad.
Rebecca must be up to something, now that she saw Levi had a stable job. Unfortunately, it was also her who ruined Jaxon's life way back when he left the country to build his own company. So it's not that easy for him to see how Rebecca is ruining Levi's life now.

Way Back Five Year's Ago
"Jaxon, your dad is in trouble, we have to leave now!" Jaxon's mom said on the phone.
It was nearly graduation day when Jaxon's dad got in a coma from having a g*n shot. Their family is on high alert because no one ever saw the culprit who shot Jaxon's dad.
As he puts his cellphone down, Levi then came after.
"Jaxon, I have to say something." Levi started.
"What?"
"I like you."
Levi confessed his feelings towards Jaxon but unfortunately it was also the same day his life started going miserable.
"I can't like a man like you." Jaxon replied unintentionally hurting Levi's feelings.
"I see." Levi said, then turned his back out of shame.
That was probably the last memory Jaxon ever felt happy.
When Jaxon and his family flew to Paris, they lost everything. Jaxon barely got employed to a restaurant where he serves as a waiter. It took him years to handle five part-time jobs in a week before his father finally woke up from coma.
But it was not the end of his unfortunate fate,
His father died after a month leading him to take care of both his mother and sibling as he also takes care of their family's assets, and that's when he started learning stuffs to business. It started passion with his passion on art, which later developed as he built Lux Corporation.
Later on, when everything is well, he searched for his father's justice. And with some connections he found out who's the culprit behind his father's death.
"Henry Jones." Jaxon said after learning the truth, but when he started looking for revenge, he found out Henry was already dead.
After a year when Jaxon decided to go home in Sandiego, he found out in the news that a certain female named Rebecca is the actual daughter of Henry Jones.
It didn't really took Jaxon's interest though, but when he heard that Levi Carson got trouble because of Rebecca, that's when he started moving things into place.
He wanted revenge not only for himself but for Levi too.
----------------------------------------
"Don't worry, I'll make sure she'll get nowhere near you." Jaxon whispered and Levi just stared at him.
"What are you going to do?" Levi asked curiously.
Jaxon grinned.
"Nothing really, just a little reminder, I guess." Jaxon answered.
Levi then backed away though when he felt that it's not proper to stick with Jaxon a lot when he's in his office, cause it might spread some rumors around and he doesn't want that.
But Jaxon is one of a heck rule disobeyer when he stopped Levi setting apart from him. He surely made Levi jumped his heart out when he started kissing him passionately out of longing.
He wanted Levi too bad, and Levi wanted him too, but his not yet prepared after that one heartbreak he could never ever forget.
