CHAPTER 17

Samara

I can't believe I just passed out and lost my consciousness because of Lia's attack. And that is only a bit of her skills, she did not even put a single effort. What if some random vampire bullied me and suddenly punched me in the face? What if it is a royalty? My face will surely be split into two.

It is sunrise now and I am the earliest to wake up. I feel better because of the medicine Doctor Suzy asked me to drink before sleeping. I felt energized again. All of my bruises healed for a bit but some marks are still visible.

I am having a quiet breakfast here in my room. At my study table, facing my wall. I woke up so early and I know I can't go back to sleep because I have already slept a lot since yesterday.

I remembered those things Doctor Suzy gave me. The books, I will read them! Finally, I can now obtain some information about this world!

After finishing my breakfast, I took a quick bath and let my hair dry through the breezy air. I opened my window than opening the air-con. This feels fresher and more alive.

I saw the bag on the right side of my bed. I immediately grabbed the bag and put all of the things out. There are medicines, potions that I don't know, and three huge books. They are really huge like there are surely thousands of pages. Can I finish all of this? Well, I won't reach the end if I don't start now.

I put all the medicines and potions back inside the bag. I should keep all of it and put it in the same place. I know it can be useful for future purposes. I also hope these kinds of potions can be gifted to the world where I came from to give my Nanay Indang and Tatay Basilyo longer lives.

I first grabbed the book entitled, "Creature's World." This is it, I will now know the information I need to know. This will be a lot of information to process in my mind.

The Creature's World is big, like what I read. The end is still not known in this world not like in my world where they are studying all the planets, stars, even the deepest parts of the ocean. Looks like the citizens here focus more on the hierarchy and the ancient history. They did not want to unfold the secrets that dont want to be unfolded. I read that it can bring mass destruction, mostly on the tombs of the dragons where it should not be visited by creatures. It is cool, monsters also exist in this world.

Creature's World also consists of lots of kingdoms. There is a list of kingdoms and I can't memorize all of it so I didn't read it. This is about the latest book so I grabbed the next book. Ill read this first because it is the oldest edition. The newest edition tackles more about the landforms.

The Creature's World, or the world for non-human beings, was formed due to seven gods who each have different characteristics and abilities. Out of these seven gods, there were five original gods namely Salvatore (the powerful god who lust for blood), Luna (the powerful goddess who can turn herself into a hairy-beast), Fiona (the queen who can fly and has the power of light), Caltazar (the powerful god who can cast spells), and Erin (the god who can make his body small). All gods lingered and traveled on the surface of the Creature's World until they've decided to spawn their eggs to produce creatures like them. Salvatore created the vampires, Luna created the werewolves, Fiona created the fairies, Caltazar created the witches and wizards, and Erin created the elves.

They called the monarchial pyramid system the Blood System where pure-bloods are at the very top, followed by royal-bloods, half-bloods, normal-blooded creatures who do not count as part of the royalties, converted creatures, and the last ones are the creatures who practice dark magic to obtain powerful magic.

Then, I remembered Lia where she mentioned the Alahuran Troupe. Alahuran Troupe killed plenty of people. They practices dark magic. Maybe they are so powerful because creatures are afraid of them. It is like a terrorist union of all creatures in this world.

Hmm, now I know the history of Creature's World and all the race that lives here. There are plenty, but, sadly, hybrids are not accepted. They are dangerous, it was like there is racism.

I looked at the next pages and saw the name, Ambrosia. That caught my attention. Ambrosia, such a beautiful name for a goddess.

AMBROSIA: THE FIRST HYBRID GODDESS

That was the title of the page. There are drawings of her, her beauty caught my attention more. She is beautiful based on the drawings. I wonder how her life started.

Things were going well in the Creature's World not until Luna gave birth to a child, the said child turned out to be a half-vampire, half-werewolf goddess. The gods decided to name her Ambrosia, and that is how the first hybrid goddess was created. She is the daughter of Luna and Salvatore, the first gods and goddesses. It became a fuss and when each race created a hybrid, hybrids are uncontrollable and powerful. They stopped making hybrids and prohibited making one.

And the answer that I read? I don't know if it was biased or what. Looks like the royals do not favor the hybrids because they are too powerful. They can control them if they will tame those who are in good condition. But I don't know, maybe they are also prohibiting it for safety. I continued reading.

Hybrids may seem like a wonderful creation at first glance, but the gods tried to stop making hybrids after finding out how uncontrollable and destructive they can get. However, when the Royals of each creature's kingdom started taking an interest in making half-bloods, they also learned how to train hybrids. Half-bloods and hybrids are quite the same except for the fact that with half-bloods you can only combine a maximum of two creatures' blood but with hybrids, you can exceed and combine as many as your heart desires. The Royals accepted hybrids in the Creature World System once again, but they put them in the lower part of the hierarchy although hybrids are more powerful than Royals.

That is where I got my idea. Well, I don't know the whole story about that so I shouldn't make a fuss. I will proceed to Ambrosia's story.

Back to the story, while Ambrosia was fighting one of the hybrid monsters called Dragon of Darkness, she spawned 30 of her fertility eggs in the whole Creature World to have her children. She died while fighting and her eggs are the only memories that remained which she gave all of her remaining power to. Royalties kept on finding the fertility eggs called Amberyo to control them for war systems but the eggs have their time of hatching.

As time goes by, the royalties learned that in every 300 years, one egg can hatch but a symbol of power must be put on the egg to label it as the kingdom's child. One egg was lucky to hatch as the child of the Elite Kingdom, a kingdom from the elves. The child was named Elias Sandalwood who lived for 130 years and died in the war between vampires and werewolves. When the war between vampires and werewolves started long ago, only 3 eggs were left. No one knows who owns the other three eggs but suspicions arose that the Aluharan Troupe, a group that practices dark magic, owns one of the eggs.

An Amberyo can be very powerful and reckless at the same time that it can wipe out an entire city alone that is why bad people want to get the Amberyo eggs. Amberyos are powerful, they can be more powerful depending on the kingdom or group of creatures they will belong to.

I closed the book and processed all the things I learned. Wow, it is too magical. I thought that only happens in some mythologies but that really happens in this world and those Amberyo eggs exist. I wonder how do they look like. I bet they are heavenly creatures because they are from the goddess Ambrosia.

When I read about all of that information and remembered that Lia said I may be a hybrid, I suddenly wished to be just a one-blooded creature. Like, a straight vampire or werewolf like what they think. Not those hybrids because people will always have eyes on me and I don't want to be killed by the council. They will see me as an uncontrollable beast and the royals who will hate me can soon frame me up. Please, I hope Im a one-blooded creature. I dont want anything like that to happen.

There is another book, the second edition from the historical writer of their world. It is about the characteristics of each race. I will read this later. I should bring my dishes down before my food leftovers stain the plates.

When I got down, other Claw members were already awake. I smiled at them and went to the sink to wash my dishes. They were eating at the island counter.

"You wash those manually?" a girl with thick eyebrows asked.

"Yeah?" I answered a bit confused not knowing what she is pointing out.

"Rinse the leftovers from the plate and put it on the oven-like s**t under you. That will wash your dishes automatically," she said and rolled her eyes on me.

I scratched my neck and did what she said. It is less hassle, thanks to her I figured it out. She seems to be a bit of a b***h but she has her caring side. Well, good enough to be friends with.

"I am Samara. What is your name?" I asked.

The two other girls between her eyed me from head to toe. They are all beautiful, they look like cousins because they all have the same shade of ginger hair and the same shape of their faces.

"I am Princess Necro, from Googla Kingdom. This one on my left is Georgia while this one on my left is Cora. We are elves if you didn't know. We are wearing jewelry to hide our pointed ears," she explained.

"Nice to meet all of you," I said, almost with an awkward tone. I don't know what to say anymore.

"You want to go with us to the campus salon? We will paint our nails?" Princess Necro asked. We think you should style up more. News are circulating that Princess Sapphire hates you. I hate her so I like you. You can go with us. We will not hurt you. We are also an ally of Mezmarat Kingdom so don't worry."

I smiled, I made new friends! I will go with them, they seemed cool and caring although they are very vocal about things. That doesn't matter to me.

"Sure, I will go. What time is it?" I asked.

"Now, so get dressed. There are only three salons and I bet many girls will go there. I don't want to wait in a long line," Cora said.

I nodded at them and bid them goodbye. I immediately changed my clothes and knocked at Lia's door. She just woke up. She was still wearing her sleeping gown.

"Good morning, Samara. Where are you going?" she asked.

"I made new friends, Lia. I will go with them to the salon," I answered.

"Who? Friends? I need to know them first if they are trustworthy. Bitches are lingering everywhere," she asked.

"Princess Necro together with Georgia and Cora. They seem nice," I said.

Lia nodded and told me to wait for a second. She swiftly moved and grabbed her wallet. She lent me a card. I didn't want to accept it but she put it in my hand.

"It is yours, Samara. The limit is infinite so don't worry about your bills. You can spend how much you want. Be safe and call any of my brothers if anything happens. I will be going on a date later, ba-bye! I need to sleep more!" she shouted and slammed her body to her bed.

I laughed while looking at Lia. Still energetic even though she is still sleepy. I shut her door and went down. I put the card inside my bag and went with the trio. They smiled at me and lent me a pair of sunglasses.

"Wear that, Samara. You are now our friend and that symbolizes our friendship," Princess Necro said.

I wore the cat-styled eyeglasses. All people were looking at us. When we reached the parking lot my eyes widened when I saw Princess Necro's car. It has fur! This car is insane!

"Hop in, you don't want to be late. We will do a big glow-up on you," Georgia said and pulled me to sit on her side.

Am I cool now? I am friends with the popular mean royalty girls. Can't believe I am going with them to the salon now.
