I’ve been awake for a while now. I’m watching my Luna rest like a creep. I spent several hours showing her how much we loved her. Her apprehension over whether we wanted her was more than my wolf could take. Zephyr resolved to knot her, which could have gotten her pregnant. Stupid wolf didn’t understand that is not how humans demonstrate their love and devotion to one another. He huffs at me in my head and curls up to ignore me.
I am a split man. This destiny mess will sort itself out, and Rain and I will have our happily ever after. But then there’s that part that worries something will happen to one of us.
