CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO In a way, I appreciated the silence around me, tainted only with the distant chirping of birds from the not too thick forest behind me. The night was approaching but the wave of calmness swirling around me was beautiful. It made me less restless than I really was. I had not had a chance to talk to Theo regarding the poor family all throughout the ride to the house by the lake.  Either he had been avoiding me or he was trying not to be obvious.
