“You are a Queen Elizabeth. You can do this,” I muttered under my breath in conviction as doors of the courtroom opened.
The mild chatter in the room died out upon my presence. Escorted by Theo and another guard at a fair distance, I made it to my place at the head of the table. Being around men was not exactly what I wanted but just for a few minutes, I could stand them enough to present my case. Justice needed to be accorded and I would see to it that it did.
