Chapter Thirty-Nine
Scully was looking at a photograph of a tall bird-like woman on his computer screen. The photo had been pulled from a segment of security tape shot at the LA airport. The woman wore a stylish hat with a veil that slashed diagonally across her left eye. But there could be no doubt. She was Ravena Volkov– Raven.
Scully checked the time and date in the lower left of his screen. Kate had been right. The woman had arrived in the United States under an assumed name a month ago. But what was more disturbing, his friend at the CIA had provided a dossier:
