Chapter Forty-Two Susan had the unnerving feeling she was not alone. That god-damned calliope music! Shut the f**k up! Her head was pounding as she slowly, fearfully, turned in the gloomy shadows to sight along the gantry behind. Nothing. She could see all the way back to the steel ladder. With a shudder, she turned her attention back to the floor below. “Looking for me?” Terror bloomed in Susan’s chest. She looked up. Raven was perched on a lighting truss and close enough to grab her by the throat.
