" Anna.. my little bird" grabbed my chin and pulled my face up, making me meet his eyes which became darker with anger. With a clenched jaw, he came forward. Now he is standing in my personal space, his woody cologne drifting through my nostrils. I tried to step back but his hold on my jaw restricted my movements. A shuddering breath passed through me followed by an intake of sharp breath. Looking straight into my eyes he said, " Haven't anyone taught you that curiosity kills the cat?" I was shaking like a leaf after watching the scene. Then he curled his lip, which made him look no less than a devil. " Huh.. don't worry Gatino, I would love to teach this disobedient kitty," and laughed like crazy. Fat tears rolled down my cheeks. I tried to speak but my voice wasn't coming out of my mouth.
