“What?” I turned the handle again. It made the sound again, and she immediately got a little concerned. “No, no, no. We need a plumber.” She reached down to her phone to try and call. “We have no service here, mom. I’ve checked. Maybe I can find one when I go into town today.” Her happy smile had diminished. I looked down and realized I was still in a towel. “How about I get dressed and head into town now. That way I can find the plumber, do the shopping and get an idea of any jobs.
