The start of her dream

This is it! In just one click of this button that says "Apply"...everything will change. Attaching my documents, photo cards, and filling out my information, then click, "Apply". A small notification said: "Wait for 2 days in reviewing your application and for an email that will be sent to your email address if your application will go on through more assessment. Thank you." Alright, I just need to wait for 2 days. If I am rejected by this company, I'll try other agencies. I don't want to apply to multiple agencies in one day. I need to wait on the results and decide to find another. As I wait, I will do my everyday tasks in the office and go to my home after. 2 days is a short time. I can wait patiently.

After 2 days...I ate my breakfast first and started to go online in my emails and social media, wherein I opened the notification from my personal email. But hahaha, I'll open it later after my working hours when I get home. When the clock turns to 5 pm, I immediately pack my things and go to my apartment. Changing my clothes and starting to prepare my dinner. I am sitting right now in my dining chair then I open my personal email. The notification email is from IGL Models Inc. It says, "Hi, Ms. Lorie Ferdz after we reviewed thoroughly your application and the requirements you've sent to us, we are glad to inform you that you passed the first step of the assessment. The second step of the assessment will be an interview with our hiring manager. Please prepare yourself to just simple questions and please do wear a simple outfit with minimal makeup so that we can see your natural beauty during the interview. The schedule for your interview via Google meet is on Saturday, 10 am. The link is already given below. Kindly click it and join before 10 am. After the interview, there will be a notification again regarding the result of your conversation with our hiring manager. Thank you and Congratulations on your first step of achievement!" Regards, Marie (Talent Recruiter at IGL Models Inc.)...Wow! This is amazing! I know, it is just the first step but I'm excited that my dream will finally be coming true. My dream will not stay as a dream but will turn into reality. In this kind of situation, I remember the Deity again. Until now, his words to me last time created an impact on my life right away.

Saturday comes...I woke up at 6 am to prepare myself for the interview. As what in the email said, I wear a simple but presentable outfit and with minimal makeup. At 9:30 am, I signed up for my google account in google meet. Then when the clock turns 9:45, I click the link that was given in the email. I am waiting for the hiring manager to join in the meeting. At exactly 10 am, the hiring manager joined in. I was glad that our conversation was natural and he just asked simple questions about me, my current experiences right now and my views regarding modeling. He asked me to stand up and check my proper attire. Yeah...it was a quick and simple interview. I also stated to him, my one of the great skills, that I am fluent in 10 languages and prove it to him. So, he was impressed, I guess. After the interview, he said that I should wait for 3 minutes for the email again. So I wait. Right after I closed the meeting link, I got an email again from them. It said, "Congratulations Ms. Lorie Ferdz! Welcome to our company! We are glad to inform you that you passed all the assessments to become part of our global modeling company. You did a great job in presenting yourself and you checked the boxes of the qualities of a model that we're looking for. Now that you are part of this global company, one of the hiring team will discuss other details like your salary, the benefits that you'll receive, and the processes you will go through to become a final employee of this company. Luckily, I was alone in my apartment. I jump and jump and dance because of the gladness. I almost cry, tears of joy, because I can really feel the happiness and excitement. I am excited to hear and discuss the additional details regarding my acceptance to their company. I'm so proud of myself. But I know, all these things happened because of that Deity.

I've got a lot of motivation to continue my workout, especially during weekends. I spent 3 hours working out even though I already passed their body requirement. It is just that even my hormones are happy and motivated to move more hahaha. I need to maintain these gifts given by the Deity. I am preparing my resignation letter to the current company that I am working for. And I will give it right after I have a conversation regarding my employment details to the employee who will discuss other things I need to become their final employee. And the day comes....Ms. Wendy, one of the executive assistants in the company, discussed everything in detail. Her communication skills are impressive. IGL Models Inc. is located in Paris, France. One of the benefits of working with them is to have a chance to visit and move into their country. They offer a free rent apartment for their models. All models will just worry about their food expenses and other personal stuff, the other expenses like water, electricity, and internet are free. A model should be always prepared and available whenever an email or a message from IGL Models Inc. sends a schedule for a photoshoot any time of the day so that you will not miss additional incentives, aside from the given salary. And maybe the brand that you will work on will sponsor you if they can see your potential. What the....these things are just in my dreams before. Now that I am hearing these and discussing them with me, I'm excited to fly to and move into their country. I'm lucky that I have a supportive family. I have no worries to inform them about this and ask help and advice from them. But first, I need to give my resignation letter to my boss and do the things I need for off-boarding requirements from my current job. The executive assistant said that I have 3 weeks to finish all the things here. And they will book me a free flight on a specific day to fly and move into their country. All the charges are provided by IGL Models Inc. I just need to prepare myself and the things that I will bring.
