_Lucian’s POV_ The moment I reached the pack’s main gate, my heart dropped. I wasn’t prepared for what I saw. Smoke filled the air. Parts of the mansion were still burning. There were blackened stone and shattered glass. Flames had eaten up the east wing and the roof was caved in. The garden was ruined. Blood stained the ground and bodies of fallen warriors and guards lay everywhere. Some were still groaning and crying out in pain. My chest tightened. This wasn’t just an attack, it was destruction.
