The struggles of a princess

In the beautiful kingdom of Wimbledon lived the king Albert Battenberg and his beautiful wife,queen Elizabeth.They both fell in love whilst albert was in his early stage of life and got married to Elizabeth.Albert was a blond haired king while Elizabeth was a red haire.They gave birth to two twin daughters Lucy and Kate.Kate took after her father’s looks and Lucy her mother’s.They both grew up to be beautiful young princesses whom most princes from the other kingdoms wanted to get married to.Whilst Kate was very obsessed with money and looks Lucy was always seen in the palace library learning one or two things about the kingdom.Kate was always worried about her hair and shoes and a whole lot of things while Lucy would just sit in a corner wandering in books,she loved reading about romance books where she would just imagine herself in that position.Lucy was a beautiful red haired without even trying,her hair was always messy but she didn’t even notice herself not until the maids came to help her make her hair would she realized she hasn’t fixed her hair in days”Eww look at your hair,all messy again,don’t you ever feel how messy it is?helloo that’s why we have maids in this palace duhh”Kate would say and walk away majestically Over time the king and queen realized the difference in the two princesses.Kate knew nothing about the kingdom and was always flaunting a new dress or shoe while Lucy was always reading,in fact she had helped solved some cases in the courtroom where her parents were usually called whenever something happens amongst the villagers,she was so nice to all and sundry.Now Lucy and Kate were identical twins,the only thing that told them apart was the hair difference.Lucy was a red haired whilst Kate was the blond one.Even if they were twins,Kate had always thought she would be the next queen after her parents because she felt she was very outspoken and very loud while Lucy was always quiet and reading books.One day she saw Lucy reading her books as usual”Oh my God don’t tell me you are reading one of those boring books for the love of god”Kate said as she gave Lucy a disgusted look.Lucy sighed heavily and forced herself to raise her head from the book she was reading”what do you want now Kate?”“Just advising baby sis”Kate said smirking.”baby sis?,we are literally twins Kate”Lucy said looking at her intently”duhh I know but anybody that sees us both would definitely know I’m the bigger and better twin besides this book you are reading would take you nowhere sis,take it from me”Kate winked,giggled and walked away.Lucy just rolled her eyes and went back to her book,her eyes tingling with excitement at how happy she was to return back to her book.Well they continued that way till they turned 17.They had become so beautiful that literally everyone in the place marveled at them but Lucy’s beauty stood out the most.There was an annual scout girls group that normally comes into the kingdom and Lucy and Kate had joined.Once the scout group were in town,the king and queen would send Kate and Lucy in a special convertible that would take them there and bring them back home.Whenever the convertible was leaving,Kate would come up the slide waving her silk hair around but no one noticed,everyone would be shouting princess lucy because of how king she was to everyone.Theoughout the ride,princess Lucy’s name would be heard till they left their kingdom and lucy would have no choice than to come up and greet them too,This would make Kate so jealous that she would sit down back in the car till they got to their destination but Kate always reassured herself that she had good looks and a pretty hair and she was a princess.Lucy was always busy imagining when she was going to have a boyfriend,someone that she would love and would truly love her too,she didn’t even need her Prince Charming to come from any wealthy family or be rich,she just needed him to love her the way she had read in most books.She had always thought she wouldn’t find her price charming up until she saw their gardener’s son Henry
