CHAPTER FOURTEEN

After, what happened Elena started to avoid, Leonel afraid that it will happen again, and worst is might not be able to stop Lena to come out, and harm Leonel, for what happened last time on the green house garden made Lena triggered, but thankfully she was able to stop Lena but it cause her a painful headache and nosebleed.

Elena was about to get out of the comfort room, when she bumped to someone that made her loose of hold on her toiletries pouch and scattered on the floor.

As she immediately took her things on the floor one by one, the person who bumped into her said something that made her halt and look at the person she bumped into but the girl is facing back at her.

“Be careful with the people around you.” The girl she bumped said warned meaningful and just like that the girl left.

“H-Hey!” Elena tried to called to the girl while she hurriedly picking her things up, to catch up with the girl, but Elena didn’t saw the girl for the girl is wearing their school uniform.

Elena was curious on why that girl student will be warned her? Did that girl know her just to give her some random warning?

Elena day at school ended with wandering mind about the girl student said, that she didn’t notice that theirs is someone is tailing her from everywhere she goes.

As Elena was about to open her front door, when a veiny hand stopped her, that made her keys dropped from the floor.

“L-Leonel…” Elena stuttered as she saw whose the owner of the hand that stopped her and now gripping her tightly on the wrist, while cornering at the side of her house, where no one will able to see them from the outside, unless the person will go further inside her yard.

Elena’s heart start raced as she saw the blank expression of Leone as he stared at her.

“Why are you avoiding me?” Leonel asked with a hint of anger on his voice.

Elena shook her head as  fear is starting to build up on her system, but she’s concealing it.

“Why?! Aren’t you answering me Elena?!” Leonel shouted in annoyance from how Elena responded for he doesn’t like it, that made Elena flinch in fear.

“P-P-Please stop,  Leonel,” Elena plead “your scaring m-m-e.”

Elena tried to plead, trying to calm Leonel. Elena doesn’t know why Leonel is being like this, he is somewhat became possessive on her. And she will always seeing Leonel tailing her to the school, that made Elena even more scared, for everytime she will see Leonel, all she can see was the enraged eye of him, gone the old Leonel she knew, and this is the first time Leonel approach her.

“Really? Yo-- ” Leonel was about to say when Ms. Estrella arrived.

“Mr. Vargas, what are you doing to Elena?!” Ms. Estrella said in surprise from what she is seeing, but immediately recovered and approach Elena and Leonel and was about to removed Leonel’s hand to Elena’s wrist when Leonel harshly shoved  Ms. Estrella’s hand, that made Ms. Estrella more surprised.

“Don’t interfere old lady, your out of these!” Leonel said harshly while throwing daggers to Ms. Estrella.

Elena was shock from what is happening, and so Ms. Estrella who was completely caught off guard by her former students harsh behavior.

“L-Let go of Elena, Leonel. Please!” Ms. Estrella plead as she saw how Elena is trembling in fear as she flinch and her wrist are getting darker that worried Ms. Estrella, specially on Elena’s state.

“Shut up! Shut up, I don’t care because I will never ever let go of Elena’s hand!” Leonel said “she’s mine! Do you understand she- is-mine!!!”

Leonel said insanely, as he pull the trembling Elena closer to him, who is now can’t even speak from so much fear.

Leonel started to pull Elena, towards the outside of the yard, that made Ms. Estrella hurriedly tried to pull Elena’s hand but, what happened next was made Elena sense of concealing Lena end.

As she saw how Leonel slapped Ms. Estrella’s  and how it echoed on Elena’s ears and how Ms. Estrella got unconscious and fall with her lips bleeds that made her last straw of Elena’s thinking property has come to an end.

“Ahh!” Elena shouted as the pain on her head began to eat her.

The pain became unbearable that Elena just want to smash her head. But after a while Elena calmed down, but still her head bowed, until she slowly lift her head.

Lena smirked as she stared on Leonel, who is still holding her, like nothing happened not minding Ms. Estrella got unconscious.

As Elena bore a cold bored gaze on Leonel, she knows that the man is insanely crazy, like who the hell is normal who was going to slap an old woman, and possessively claim Elena as his.

Tsk! That’s what you get for concealing me Elena. Lena said on her head.

“No one can have Elena, but me.” Leonel said all of a sudden while throwing daggers on the unconscious Ms. Estrella.

“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” Lena said in a bored tone that made Leonel turn his gaze on her.

“Really? Your admitting now that you are mine.” Leonel asked, as his dagger look turned from cheek to cheek smile and turned to Ms. Estrella again.

“You hear that? I told you not to intervene, but you still did it and pissed me off.” Leonel said smirking and was about to kicked Ms. Estrella a hard one when Lena forcefully, pulled Leonel and choked him while looking at him with a cold gaze.

A sound of Leonel choking can only be hear in the surrounding, but immediately change in to a groan, when Leonel took he’s pocket knife on his pants and stab Lena on her stomach that made Lena let go of him.

Lena immediately hold her stab stomach and lift her hands only to see that it was covered in blood that made Lena eyes became dim in anger and a creepy smile started to crept on her lips.

Red is the only color that she can see as she started to attack Leonel like she didn’t stabbed.

Holding a rough rock, on her hands, Elena smash it to Leonel’s head as she got a chance, after she had been stab by Leonel three time but is seems didn’t affect her.

Die! Die! Die! Is the only word on Lena’s head as she continue to smash Leonel with big rough rock.

Leonel tried to fight Lena but Lena is too strong, and he can’t do anything, until he felt a last smash on his head and everything became black.

On the other hand, Lena is humming while continuously smashing Leonel’s head that is now became unconscious.

“No one can hurt Elena...not anyone and not even you bastard!” Lena angrily said and for the last time she throw rock she’s using to Leonel’s body.

Smirking, as she saw the knife that Leonel used to her, and took it. Lena approach Leonel and slit his throat using the pocket knife as a finishing touch for her prey.

Lena saw a drum and put Leonel’s body in it as and move it near the woods and leaving the body burning.

As Lena came back from burning Leonel’s body Lena felt her body weaken.

“E-Elena?” Lena heard someone called her Elena.

And when she look to know who is, she saw it was Ms. Estrella.

“Oh my goodness gracious Elena! What happened to you?” Ms. Estrella said in horror as she saw Elena’s state.

As Ms. Estrella woke up, she freak out when Elena is nowhere to be found, thinking that something happened to Elena, Ms. Estrella was about to go to her house to take her phone to call the police when she halt as she saw Elena walking slowly coming from the back part of the house and now this.

Ms. Estrella didn’t know what to do as her system where filled in horror from the blood she can saw coming out from Elena’s stomach.

“Elena!” Ms. Estrella shouted at Elena’s body collapse on the ground. Ms. Estrella hurriedly call for a help and exactly the guard is patrolling, that Ms. Estrella call immediately and rush Elena to the hospital.

Elena woke up with her whole body feel sore, specially her stomach.

“Hmm…” Elena moaned as she tried to move her body, that made Ms. Estrella woke up that was sleeping on the couch, near Elena’s bed.

“Elena!” Ms. Estrella said as she rush beside Elena’s bed who was unconscious for five days.

“Your awake…” Ms. Estrella said as happiness filled her system making the tear escape on her eye.

Elena has been critical and was need to use a machine to make her heart beat again, for she lost lots of blood, but thankfully they were able to saved her.

“What happened Aunt Elle? Why am I here, and my body hurts.” Elena asked confused by the situation.

“You don’t remember?” Ms. Estrella asked, and Elena just shake her head in response.

Ms. Estrella told Elena what happened 6 days ago, from time that  she found Elena and Leonel until, she woke up after passing out from Leonel’s slap and found her bleeding.

And because of that Elena was able to recall what happened and worriedly stared at Ms. Estrella after she recall seeing Ms. Estrella passing out.

“Aunt Elle, how about you? Are you okay?” Elena worriedly asked, as she hold Ms. Estrella’s arms that Ms. Estrella immediately asured Elena that she is okay, for that is the truth.

“I’m okay Elena, you don’t need to worry okay?” Ms. Estrella said standing up from her seat to fix Elena’s comforter, “all you need to do now is to recover.”

Ms. Estrella said and seat again after she fixed Elena’s comforter.

“By the way Aunt Elle.” Elena called to Ms. Estrella who is now handing Elena a fruit she prepared.

“Yes?” Ms. Estrella asked.

“W-What happened to L-Leonel?” Elena asked stutter as she remember Leonel, for all she remembered was seeing Leonel standing while looking at her coldly before everything went black on her.

“Mr. Vargas is no where to be found, but don’t worry, the authority is looking for him.” Ms. Estrella responded holding Elena’s assuring her, thinking that Elena must be scared that Leonel might be back to hurt her again.

But on Elena’s thought, a lot of question is running on her head such as, Is Leonel sick?, Is he the one who did this to her?, and where is he now? These are question is running on her mind, for she is sad that she had lost a friend that if its for her, she didn’t want to lost, but their situation made her friend lost.

Thinking those questions, Elena didn’t notice  that she dozed off.

“Is there any news about my son?” The man asked when one of his men that he ordered to look for his missing son entered his office.

“I’m sorry sir, but sir Leonel is still nowhere to be found.” The man said to his boss.

“i***t! Are you looking with your eyes close?! 5 days and my son is still missing!” The man ragingly said to his men.

“Do your job properly or else your I will be the one who will make your head burst!” The man said to his men while pointing his gun to the man, “now get out and don’t ever dare to comeback without my son!”

The man ordered to his men that his men heeded immediately.

With so much rage the man throw his glass to the door where his men that he ordered to find his son got out.

“Dad.” The girl called to her father while roaming her eyes the floor where the pieces of glass scattered.

“What?!” The man shouted to his daughter.

“I saw your men downstairs. Any use from brother?” the girl asked hoping that her brother isn’t found yet.

“None, so get out, you useless brat!” The man said to his daughter that made her fist clench as she made her way outside her father’s office.

“I really hope you will never be found, Leonel!” the girl uttered, so that the people who keeps causing her and her mother’s life miserable will be reduced. And hoping that her father will be gone too as well.

And remembering the girl that her father told her to watch, she will do anything to help that girl as well for she never want another people suffer because of her father’s evilness.

How much she loathed to be her father’s daughter, to be part Raffy Mirabello’s children.
