"This is what I am offering; do you accept it? My stepsister for your dead child," Russo said to the man I recognized as the Alpha of Lake Blood.

Kelani Stone is a she-wolf who was hated by her step-siblings and given away by his stepbrother, the new alpha of Shadow, to another alpha as a peace treaty.

But faith had other things in store for her; in a twist of events, she was claimed by the Alpha King, who was nicknamed the Grim Reaper because of his ruthlessness.

Upon discovering the Alpha King curse,

Kelani manages to escape from him but is kidn*pped by a witch who tells her everything about her ancestors and unlocks her powers, but asks her to join the ploy to kill the Alpha King.

Would she join her? Or would the mate bond prevail? Even if the mate bond prevailed, would he break the curse, thereby stepping down from the throne?

Find out in Alpha Kings Witch, Book 1 of the White witch series!!!

Chapter 1
"She looks like the Alpha's last daughter," I heard someone say behind me. My heart went into my stomach, but I did not turn because I was afraid that any of my stepbrother's men could be there. Even though I knew that it could not be true, this place was where the condemned lived—wolves given to our pack by those who offended us and wolves with abilities like me. "Look at her white hair; it's the princess." A man pointed at me. My hand flew to my head immediately, and I covered it. s**t, that was the thing about being different; it was not a good thing sometimes. My white hair and purple eyes always gave me out wherever I was. Someone laughed and said something about why the princess would be seen at the condemned clan, and that was exactly why I was following this way; no one would ever dream that I would go through here to get to the borders since this side of our pack was filled with pickpockets and kidnappers. I felt something land at the back of my leg; it hurt, but I did not turn. I knew that this was their ploy to get me to turn so they would confirm if it was me. "Also, if it is her, why does she look so tattered?" I heard someone else say. I looked down at my clothes, and I saw how dirty they were from my sleeping in the woods. I couldn't lodge in a hotel or inn because that would have made it easy for Russo to find me, but that also meant that I had rolled up in the dirt, but that was the last thing on my mind. I was more concerned about crossing borders and leaving the clutches of my family. "When I went to the main market to get some products, I heard something about a bounty on a missing princess, but I never really paid attention." The only thing I kept hearing in my head was to run, but I doubted how far I could run before my stepbrother or his men would find me since I did not go outside the pack a lot. Either way, it doesn't mean I will stay here and let the chance the moon goddess gave me go to waste. My name is Kelani Stone, the daughter of Alpha Saint Stone and my father's favorite daughter, which is probably why my father's other wife and her three children, Russo, Clara, and Ann, hated me. My father married my mother after being married to the former Alpha's daughter. Her father had insisted on it being the price he wanted for helping my father secure the Alpha position, but then my mother came. She was caught trying to steal something from our pack's store, and when she was brought before the Alpha, instead of sentencing her, he recognized her as his mate. My father never really knew everything about her past, but they had a child together, me. She died while having me, and I looked just like her, white hair and all. Everything was okay, but then my father died from an ambush as he was coming back from a meeting, and that made my stepbrother, Russo, the New Alpha. Since then, I have never known peace; I went from one humiliation to the next. But last night I had enough, after I overheard him talking to his advisers about using me as the peace treaty. He had killed the child of another Alpha, and that Alpha had contacted the Wolf Council to settle the case. I escaped last night when everyone was busy preparing everything to meet the standards of that Demon King, who is the head of the council. I called the chance I had last night the one the moon goddess gave me because my stepbrother had always set an alarm at the main door to alert him when anyone tried to walk through it, but last night, he was so disturbed by the Demon King visit that he forgot about it. "Watch where you are going," someone said and pushed me. I shifted back immediately, but thankfully, every inch of my body was covered, so I did not get any unwanted images. When I reached the borders, there were only two soldiers at the border, which was unlike the other ways that you could leave the pack. I thought about waiting for them to leave, but time was not on my side. "Are you trying to cross too?" Someone asked me, and I turned. It was a young woman, about my age; she was clutching a bag of clothes and looked as dirty as I was. "Yes," I said, for the sake of not being rude. "I too escaped from Delta Eli House; his sons are sadists, but thank God that they are distracted from the council that is coming here. My name is Katie Pierce, though. I nodded, still concentrating on escaping. I was contemplating taking the big gate and trying to escape from there since the guards were standing on the small gate. "If going through the big gate is your plan, then prepare to be caught; there's an alarm there." She looked at the dirty watch she was wearing. "But in exactly two minutes, they will leave that small one for their lunch break, and then we can escape from that one. I nodded and stepped down from the tree where I was standing. "This is usually the place you thank me for saving you and tell me your name." I looked at her, then at the gates, noting that the guards had stood up and started walking away, which meant she knew what she was doing. "Kimberly, I escaped from elder Jonah's house; I guess they are all rattled from that visit." "Time to go. We have exactly three minutes, and they will be back again. Besides, there are posters all over town looking for us who dared to escape. Most of us are asked to be killed, except for one, the princess. She has lot's money on her head, amongst other things." I still held my cloak and was running with her. "Like what?" "Are you asking about the bounties on her head?" I nodded. "Yes." "A new position, Red Moon Pack, and also the promise of..." "Russo is giving a lot just to catch me," I blurted out without thinking. "What did you say?" She asked me. "Shhhh, we are at the gates," I said, holding my mouth, but it was just me trying to change the subject. We tiptoed out of the small gate; thankfully, none of them noticed us, then broke into a run. We raced through the forests, then came to the borders of the ice spur pack. It was a large pack, just like ours. "Let's get washed up in that water, then enter this pack; it will make our escape easy," she said. I looked at her in surprise and said, "Why would I go to that pack? It would be easy for them to find me." She pulled off her cloak and asked, "Good, then where are you going from here?" I shrugged. "I do not know for now, but I am staying off any major roads and going through the forests. I am hoping to reach somewhere that they would not bother to look for me." "Then the city is our best chance. They would not dream that we would dare enter into a large pack with tight security like this since we are just servants. You will be caught if you follow this way much longer; they have already started combing the forests from the east side, and many of us have been found. But suit yourself," she said, then concentrated on stripping off the rest of her clothing. I saw the cane marks on her body, then decided that she was my best chance of getting out of there. I stripped my clothes too, then grabbed a beastie from my bag and covered my hair. When I turned, she was looking at me. "What?" "You don't have much blemish on your skin. Besides, what is that star on your back?" She asked me. " I healed more quickly than most wolves and could take down some of the Russo guards, which is why I did not have blemishes. As for the mark on my pack, only my father knows what it means, and it was not a topic we ever discussed until his death. "I use good cream; it takes care of everything," I said, then went into the river that she was on. "Let's get it later; I need to use it on my skin for my mate." I turned to her and said, "You have a mate?" She nodded. "Yes, we escaped together but got separated. But he has a phone, and so do I, so I will call him later to know where he is. I can't wait for us to settle someplace, get married, and start having children." I smiled. "At least one of us has something to look forward to." "With how pretty you are, finding someone will not be hard for you," she said, and I smiled. We finished up and went back to our bags. I put on another gown, then tied my hair before covering it with a black cloth. I did not want to give myself off. "Let's go; it will be night soon, and we need to be beside their border when that happens." I nodded, and then we joined the traders that were coming in through their border. It was a large city, so we fit in, and we continued going east. She knew where she was going because she had a map, so I did not bother asking her any questions. When we got to the other side of their border, it was already evening, so we lodged in the same hotel most traders use, so we could join them in escaping in the morning. "Settle down, but be alert. Let me go grab some food and also speak to my mate." I nodded, then went to the bathroom. It had been a long since I had hot water on my skin. I had finished bathing and was watching television when she came back with a tray of food. "Thank you," I said, and I took my order from her. She smiled at me, but it did not reach her eyes, then started eating. "So did you speak to your mate? Where is he?" I asked her. "I did speak to him, and he will be fine." I nodded and started eating, but soon I started to be drowsy. I tried to lift my hand, but I couldn't, and it was then that I realized that she had drugged me.
