ALPHA KINGS WITCH

Chapter 3

The place he was touching was tingling; I felt goosebumps all over, and my wolf kept purring at the back of my head, asking me to kiss him, but I was crippled with fear, my eyes wide as I could not understand what was happening. The Alpha King was calling me mate. The Grim Reaper was holding my jaw and leaning in to kiss me.

"It can't be; please leave me alone," I whispered but couldn't move away. He moved closer, then gripped my neck and waist, but then my eyes went to the hand on my waist.

Seeing it soaked in blood snapped me out of my trance. I pushed him off, then shifted back.

He made me come close, and I grabbed a vase.

"Don't come close, or I will break this on your head," I shouted.

"Drop that now," he commanded.

I almost dropped it, but then something snapped me out of it. So I threw the vase at his head and tried to run out through the back door. But his hands were on me before I could reach the door, and he pulled me back with so much force that I landed on my buttocks.

He moved to where I was to grab me again, but I managed to sidetrack him and landed on the other side of the room, breaking some of the glasses there. I was still trying to grab something that I would haul on him when he pulled me up by the throat. His eyes were flashing now, and he was breathing heavily.

"Jayden, what are you doing?" His brother said,

He shook his head like he was trying to push something off, then dropped me.

"Don't ever do that again," he growled out, then grabbed my hands.

"Sit," he said, and I did.

I was not stupid; I chose my battles wisely.

"Liam, get this over with, so I can get going," he said to his brother, who then sat beside me on the seat.

Liam smiled, then walked to the center, motioning for all the Alphas to take a seat again.

"We are here to discuss the killing of Lily Warth, daughter of Alpha of Lake Blood Pack, by Alpha Russo, the Alpha of Shadow Pack. Let the two Alpha's stand up, greet the Alpha, then tell us how it happened. Starting from Alpha Nathan," he said, then my brother and Nathan stood up.

He took a seat, and Nathan moved forward in front of everyone, then started the story that we were all familiar with.

"Me and Russo had agreed to be partners, letting each other use everything that we owned, including roads, but last month, my daughter Lai..."

His daughter had taken our route and was going home when she ran into Russo's car, and Russo pulled her heart out without asking who it was.

"Go get your bag; we will be leaving in a few minutes." He said bringing my attention back to him as I tried not to look at him.

"Go where? I am not going anywhere," I said, looking away.

He growled, causing me to look at him again and he motions Liam to stop talking. I was pretty sure their eyes were on us.

"If you want to remain alive under my care, then you should never ask me questions and never disobey me. Now go get your bag and anything valuable you own; Saint will go with you." As soon as he said that, one of his men moved forward.

I stood up, not sure if my leg could carry me, and then started running up the stairs, hoping that he would not catch up, but as soon as I reached my door, he was right behind me. I tried to close the door as soon as I slipped in, but he used his leg to open it and came in.

"This does not look like a girl's room; where is the pink?" he said, and he started laughing at his joke.

"Not all girls like pink, and while living here, the room decoration was the last thing on my mind," I said without thinking.

I grabbed my silver knife while waiting for him to explode like the Alpha King, but he did not; instead, he started laughing.

"Jayden would not know what hit him," he said in between laughter, and I looked at him in surprise.

He was calling the Alpha King by his name, and he was also laughing twice now.

I thought about it in my head and decided that this might be another chance for me to escape. I zipped my bag, then grabbed my stomach.

"Let me use the bathroom; I will be back real quick," I said, and he nodded.

"Okay, but don't do anything stupid."

"Thank you," I said, then put my handbag on my arm and entered the bathroom.

Turning the water on, I opened the window and gently climbed it.

"Kalani," I heard him say.

"Yes, give me a few more minutes," I said, then landed on the other side. This was not the first time I had done this.

I stooped to grab my bag that I dropped before I jumped when I felt the presence of someone, and I felt butterflies in my stomach just like I felt when I was with the Alpha King.

I looked up slowly, and there he was scowling at me. I tried to move backward, then he grabbed me and pulled me up.

"I remember telling you to go get your bag so we can leave. So what are you doing now? Answer me?" He growled out.

"I..." I kept stammering.

"So infuriating," he said, then grabbed me by the throat and fused his mouth to mine.

His other hand went to my back, squeezing it. I had never been kissed in my life, but if this was how it felt, I wanted it every damn minute because I felt him sucking everywhere and his hands on my ass were massaging it.

My hand went to his neck and he pulled me up in his hands, still kissing. His mouth licked a wet trail to my neck, nipping my neck. His tongue was going to my breast when someone coughed.

"What is it, Liam?" he asked while still holding me.

My face was flaming, so I buried it in his shirt. I could not believe I was kissing a man behind my bathroom. I wonder what Liam thinks of me.

"We are ready to leave Alpha; her bag is already in the jet," he said.

"Good," he said, then dropped me. I felt a sharp headache.

"Time to go. Your bag is in the jet," he said, and he started dragging me.

"Did my brother agree to this? I will..." I did not finish what I was saying when I felt a sharp headache.

"What is wrong?" He asked me.

"Wolfsbane," I said, and I felt a wave of dizziness, making me sway on my feet.

I heard him saying, "Who gave it to you?"

But I could not talk; my mouth felt heavy, and my eyes were closing.

When I woke up, I heard the sound of someone. I groaned, then pushed up. I did not know where I was, but the room smelled of money. The bed was extra soft, and the decor was fit for royalty—just that everything was too dark for me.

When I looked up, I saw a large portrait of the Alpha King. I was wondering how I acquired all this when I remembered what happened yesterday.

Someone knocked on the door, and I hurried back to the bed, but not before grabbing a glass that I had for safety.

The door revealed a middle-aged woman who started to smile as soon as she saw me.

"How do you feel?"

"Good," I said while still looking at her.

"That's good to hear, Are you hungry? Do you like beef noodle soup?"

My stomach growled immediately when I heard her mention food , "Yes."

"Then come to the dining room and eat, Luna. The Alpha said, to make sure that you eat."

I looked at her in surprise, then remembered the Alpha King: "My name is Kelani, not Luna, and where am I?"

"In the Celestial Pack, Luna, I can't call you your name."

"Where is the Alpha King?" I asked her.

"Out, there was something that required his attention."

"What?"

She shrugged. "I don't know, but I have everything ready for you. Would you prefer to take your bath or would you eat dinner?"

"Dinner, I haven't eaten for so long," I said, then stood up.

"What is your name?" I asked her.

"My name is Ana, Luna. Please sit." She pointed at the chair.

Everything about this place screamed luxury; the table was made of silver glass, which was so beautiful. There were three golden buffets at the end of the table. The plates were not the kind I had ever seen in a pack.

She dished my food and then carried it to me. It smelled so delicious that I wanted to dig in, but then I remembered.

"Sorry to ask this. How do I know that it isn't poisoned?" I asked.

She grabbed a spoon, "If you do not mind," and ate two spoons from it.

I started eating the noodles while trying to get information out of her, but she was very tight-lipped.

"What is the alpha like?" I asked her.

"Like every other Alpha," she answered.

"How long have you been working here, and how come there is no one here but you?" I asked.

"I don't recall how long, but it's been a year, and the Alpha prefers it that way," she said.

I stopped asking her questions and finished my food. She grabbed the plates from my hand.

"Can you show me around?"

"If you want Luna but only the inside, the Alpha doesn't want you outside."

It was on the tip of my tongue to protest and ask her to show me everywhere, but I did not know where I was, so I could not escape. Even if they showed me everywhere, I needed them to lower their guards for me to escape.

"Of course." She showed me the main door, the other rooms, the library, and the swimming room, and pointed at his office.

When I entered my room after grabbing two books from the library, I decided to bathe before the Alpha came back.

I got naked since I was alone and started searching for my towel and phone.

I heard the bathroom door open, and I turned, facing a naked Alpha King.
