Third Person's POV
'Mum! I'll be back in a few hours. I'll tell you right away if I got the job okay? Ok.' Calum said and took a bus to the local mall.
He walked to the coffee shop where the man who introduced as 'Ashton' said. He took a seat in the corner of the shop waiting a few minutes. He was a little early since he doesn’t want to be late for his first impression. He just really hopes his new boss would be a good one, or a guy who's hot as f**k.
A man entered the coffee shop wearing a dress shirt and some jeans, even though it’s just a dress shirt, he looks very professional. He looks around the shop and saw Calum, he walked towards him and Calum can feel anxiousness hit him a little.
'Mr. Hood?' Ashton said. Calum stood up and shook the awaiting hand. 'So, I will basically get this straight to the point. Your new client will be a little difficult, he's very strict about everything and he is a handful so I decided to hire you since you're a guy too and can balance the mood of the same gender. He'll be here in a few moments. So, while waiting, tell me about yourself Mr. Hood.' Ashton said.
'Please call me Calum. Well this would be basic, I'm 20, I have a sister and my mother in the house. My father left when I was a year old. I took part time jobs here and there to help my family since what we earn is still not enough for our daily lives. My mother is a tailor designer and my sister are a helper at the salon here. I graduated 2nd year of college in a parochial school in Sydney. That's basically all.' Calum said.
'I'm so sorry for your father Calum but I can assure you that what you will earn in this job can help your family a lot.' Ashton said.
A guy entered the silent café wearing a tight hoodie, the hood covering his head, sunglasses and jeans. He walked to the table where Calum and Ashton is sitting and smacked the older man in the head a little hard.
'Ouch what the f**k Lucas.' Ashton said and rubbed his head. 'Why did you make come here? Sometimes ash, I forgot that your manager. You're supposed to handle these things. Why do I have to meet this guy if he can basically show up in my doorsteps on Monday.' The guy said. Calum stared at him with furrowed eyebrows. He doesn't like this guy. But he looks hot. He can tell this would be handful of job.
Cause I want you to meet the guy and tell him all the things he needs to know.' Ashton said and a dirty thought came into Calum's head.
The guy turned to Calum. 'Did he tell you that I have mood swings or whatever?' He asked Calum.
'You can say that.' Calum said. 'Then you already know what you need to know.' This Lucas guy said. 'Luke just take a seat and give him the paper I told you to bring.' Calum can see that he rolled his eyes and took a seat beside him before pulling a paper from his thick wallet.
'Seriously Luke, how unprofessional are you? You can always bring a folder you know.' Ashton grumbled. 'Whatever Ash, he can read it.'
Calum took the paper and scan it while Luke spoke up. 'You'd be starting in Monday and that's the schedule of the rooms you need to clean every day. The house is a little too big so ash decided that he should divide the 54 rooms in to two. There's one to that you're not allowed to go in and that's my library beside my room. Someone will show you around and guide you through every rooms. Since the house is 5 hours away from where you live, you'd be staying there during weekdays or weekends if you want to. You will be my cook too and you'll do the laundry and whatsoever in the house.' Luke rambled and every information was received by Calum's head.
First: 1 and 2nd floor including the swimming pool and the backyard.
Second: 3, 4 and 5th floor.
All the things that Calum needs to know is in there.
'I'll have someone fetch you in your house at Sunday and be sure to have your things packed up. That's all for now I think.' Luke said and crossed his arms.
'I get everything. But I need to know you're name first mister.' Calum said.
Luke stilled. He looked at Calum through his sunglasses and laughed at Ashton. 'Is this a joke ash?'
'I'm not joking Lucas whatever your name is.'
Luke sighed and took off his sunglasses looking at Calum. Calum regret that he asked for his name, for this job.
'It’s not Lucas. It's only Luke. Luke Hemmings.'
