Chapter I – New Job Third Person's POV 'Mum, it’s okay. I'm used to all house chores and hard work in home. I can cook, I can do laundry by hand, I can clean the house, I can almost do everything in the house. Don't be worried and what I will earn, will go to you too.' Calum said as he ate dinner with his mum and sister. 'But Calum, you don't have to do this. We can barely survive, and that's okay. As long as we have each other.' Joy said as she pities her own son. Calum is a very hard working and kind child. He started working at the age of 15 in a cheap restaurant to help Joy with raising the family. Mali is working in a parlor where he gets paid half a grand a month which is not enough for their daily life. Joy works for a tailoring shop and what they were earning is not enough. Their father left them when Calum was only a year old. He became alcoholic and started hurting Mali in a very young age especially Joy. 'Mum, it’s okay I promise. It’s just housekeeping. Nothing's going to happen, and I don't even have a client yet and if I didn't have a client in two weeks, I'll find another job.' Calum smiled. Mali sighed. 'If only I can find another job. You won't have to suffer Calum.' 'It’s okay Mal, we're a family. We help each other okay?' 'I want to marry Luke Hemmings, if I get to be his wife, we're rich.' Mali joked. 'You sound like a gold digger Mali, what do you like about that Luke Hemmings anyway, he's a normal person too Mali, that guy farts too.' Calum rolled his eyes. 'Calum haven't you seen his handsomeness? It’s out of this world.' Mali grinned. 'So, in that case, he looks like an... alien?' Mali scoffed and glare at Calum playfully who rolled his eyes again. •|•|• Calum groaned as his phone rang loudly. He's about to sleep! Can this caller call later? 'Hello?' Calum answered the phone. 'Good evening, is this Calum Hood from the housekeeping agency?' T A man's voice said on the line. 'Uh yes, speaking.' Calum rambled. 'I was wondering if we can meet, I want to try you for a housekeeper for my client.' 'Yes sir, when do you think we can meet?' 'It’s up to you Mr. Hood. But if you're free tomorrow at the local coffee shop in the mall, tell me.' 'I'm free tomorrow yeah.' 'See you at three Mr. Hood. Good night.' The man said and hanged up. 'Mum! I got a job! I think!' Calum yelled. Joy yelled an agreement and brought a hot chocolate for Calum. I finally have another job! Calum thought as he fell asleep.
