Carmen Duchy , A little farther from the main hall and duke's resting place, Near the Duchess castle a peach forest is located. No one goes there after the previous Duchess died , her daughter was only ten years old . Inside this forest lives the Dukes first born daughter Serena . That's not even a proper living place for a servent. She lives there because of her stepmother Daphne don't like to see her . She keeps telling her that she is a defective product, because of her she didn't want to be embraced out there . Her father the Duke Kael often stays outside because of work . So there is no one taking care of Serena. Without the old butler or the nanny Serena would have died out here in the cabin . Serena can't speak, even if she tries to only some humming sound can only be heard. Although sometimes the old servent could not bring food for serena now 16 years old she has learnt how to pick fruits from the near forest , she can dig wild potatoes and herb . She is no longer hungry. Now this little hut has become her santury. No one can taunt her hear. Not even lily . Lily is her step sister who has come with Daphne when she married into the family that's why she has always been jealous of Serena. It is heard that the Duke took pity and adopted her into the pack . She enjoys going up to the little forest, there she collects fruits, berry , wild herbs, potatoes and mushrooms. She has planted some vegetables inside this forest , she checks time to time for some egg or sets few traps for wild rabbits. She has learned to love her times here in the forest . There my little berries come to me , she is humming a song her mother taught her although she can't speak her mother taught her piano and she learns quickly. After Daphne became Duchess she is deprived of even normal food and clothing. Oh , what is that ? That's not a rabbit. Is it a wild for or a dog ? Is it alive ? There is so much blood here . Where did it come from ? Should I save it ? What if it's bite me ? All kind of thoughts are roaming inside serena's little head . Than the little dog like creature, that has injured and trapped inside serena's trap let's out a small painfull cry . Everything inside serena's head comes to a stop . She have to save it . Serena carefully unfasten the traps , then covered the black puppy with her head scarf. Picked up her fruit basket then ran like crazy towards her cabin . She didn't stop for a second, afraid the life wii be lost . After returning to her cabin , she first put the black puppy on table . Then with a clean wet cloth begun to wipe down his body . The puppy regain his senses for a little moment, then closed its eyes again . Serena hurries to grind the herb . She blended every healing herb inside her cabin put the paste on the wonded puppy 's heart then she checks the pulse. It's returning to normal . His breathing is stable now . She collapsed on a small chair . Wow , you little brat . I hadn't runned like that in decades. If you still die I am not responsible. Then she strokes his hair carefully.
