Chapter 1 'Life gives us all we want but it is us that will either cherish it or destroy it'. Sophia POV. I looked around and smiled. My best friend mia was with me,we are at my secret place. It is a place where where I keep my most cherish things and only my family knows about it and since mia is family,she also knows about it. Mia's mom is my mom personal assistant daughter. When her mom was pregnant with her,her dad disappeared so my mom took her in as her PA and also gave her shelter. When she gave birth,few minutes later my mom gave birth to me since then we were inseparable. Today is our first day of senior year so we woke up very early to get ready. I wore a blue short skirt,a white shirt and white socks with white canvas. I went to mia to check up on her and she looked different. "What on earth are u wearing,mia?" I asked curious. If we walk together we will look like words and opposite.She was wearing long pairs of blue trousers,a white T-shirt with a blue jacket over it. I am actually use to it.she made her into a ponytail while I packed mine. "What I use to wear of course".Mia replied smirking. Even without dimples she still looked cute. "You girls should come downstairs if u don't want to be late for your first day of senior school year".Mia mom, Emma called us from downstairs. "We are coming". Mia and I said in Union. I took my bag while mia took her backpack and we both went downstairs. I saw my brother in the living room going through some some files. I immediately went to hug him from behind and kissed his cheek he smiled back at me with his dimples showing,he looked so cute I thought. He looks just like dad while I look like mom.Emma served our breakfast, and gave my mom some tea and told the driver to drop us immediately when we are done. "You girls should hurry up ok"emma said and hug mia,and following mom as she was about to leave.she is always looking out for me and mom. Mia and I quickly eat out breakfast and left for school. ................................ When we got to school the place was very busy. Mia and I went to our different apartment,we won't be seeing each other till the end of the day. I am an art student while she's a science student. I got to my class and it was buzzing with students I got to my seat and settled down. Due to the fact that my parents were well known multi-billonaire, everyone in the class recognized me and I instantly became popular and I got to me met my desk mate became popular and when it was time for first period. The teacher asked me to introduce myself,so I stood up and went to the front of the class. "hello,my name is Sophia Green,I hope u guys would treat me nice thank you". I said to them and they all clapt.And so the class begin. Mia POV Everyone was very nice not all actually. I got to my seat and a girl named ria and I started to talk. "why are u wearing trousers instead of skirt?"Ria ,a friend i made asked me. "I am not really a fan of skirt"I replied. "oo...is that so what about Sophia"she asked cause I told her I was her best and everyone knows the green family. "Don't worry she's loves skirt like a lot" I told her I can't believe believe I actually made a friend without Sophia being with me. I don't really know how to make friends it is usually Sophia that helps me with it. Ria and I actually have a lot in common.we talked until the first teacher came in and we all stood up to greet her. When she saw me she asked me to come front to introduce myself. "My name is Mia brown" I told everyone. "Aren't you the best friend of Sophia Green and is ur mother not the personal assistant of Mrs Green". A student asked me and I replied to them. "Yes", I told them. "I wasn't suprised that everyone actually Know that"I said to myself. "so u r her maid or what"a girl asked and everyone started laughing. I didn't take what she said to heart, people usually to say am her bodyguard or maid because I use to follow her around. "That's enough".The teacher said and everyone stopped laughing. I went back to sit. "Are u ok"ria asked me. Even though I wasn't, I told her I was. "Don't mind them they always behave like that"she told me.
