Chapter 7

Tonight is prom night and I'm still walking with my crutches but I really want to go to the prom.

I'm in school right now. I can go back to school but I'm still walking with my crutches and I just hope that my feet will be better soon.

"Hey, you wanna go to the mall with me and have shopping clothes for prom tonight?" Rachel suddenly standing next to my locker.

"Sure." I nodded.

"You will go to the prom tonight, right?" Rachel asks me as we start walking together.

"My dad wont let me, I guess. Besides who wanna dance with a girl who has broken leg? Nobody." I sigh.

"Well, I would." A voice behind us.

Rachel and I turn our face until we saw a guy smirk at us and standing near the locker rack.

"Jesse? What are you doing here?" Rachel frowns to that guy.

I turn my face at Rachel then to that guy. I dont know who is that guy but he cant stop smirks at me.

"You dont want to introduce me to your beautiful friend?" He smirks at me.

"For what? So you can break her heart then throw some eggs at her?" Rachel glares at him then take my sleeve. "Come on, Madison." Rachel says to me.

"Okay I'm here to apologize!" That guy shouts and block our way.

"Well, I think I better go." I said to them and turn my way.

I keep walking in the hallways with my crutches and I guess it will be normal since Quinn isnt here but I'm afraid if she will do something crazier if she go back.

Okay I just need to brave myself and I will get through that. If she beat me, I will beat her back. That's easy.

I'm still walking and about to turn my way to the cafetaria until I feel like my feet slide something and I almost fall.

"Whoaa."

Someone catches my body. I turn my face and it's Finn. He hold me and looking at me and I just can do the same.

Finn's POV

I'm walking in the hallways and turn my way to the cafetaria because I'm hungry and since no chicks around so I guess I can eat as much as I want.

I see Madison is walking alone in the hallways only with her crutches. I follow her and walk behind her to shock her but suddenly the crutches slide down and she almost fall.

I'm standing right behind her and catches her body and glad that I got her. She closes her eyes then turns her face at me and raises her eyebrows.

I'm drawning in her beautiful eyes. I dont know what's wrong with me but my heart beats really fast. What happened?

"Finn?" Madison raises her eyebrows and wave her hand in front of my face.

"Oh I'm sorry." I said to her and help her to stand up.

"No, thanks." She said to me.

"That's okay. Where are you going to?" I ask her.

"Cafetaria. I'm hungry and I want to eat as much as I can." She chuckles.

"Me too." I chuckle and rub her hair.

This is the moment that I've been waiting for. Alone together with Madison. I miss doing many things with her and I dont know why something different inside me came since she is here.

"Finn, I wanna ask about Jesse guy? Who is he?" Madison asks me.

"Jesse St. James?" I frown.

"I dont know his long name is but he blocked my way when I talked to Rachel and now she is with him so I walked away." Madison says.

"He is Rachel's ex-boyfriend and actually I didnt know what is he doing here." I shrug.

"You jealous huh?" Madison chuckles and teased me.

"No. I didnt." I shake my head.

"Dont lie to me. You're in love with her." She chuckles.

I just half-smiled at her and keep walking with her. I dont even know about my feeling right now. I dont even know I'm still in love with Rachel or not.

"You sit down here, I'll get the food for you." I said to her and point to an empty table.

"No, I want to follow you get the food." Madison shakes her head.

"Okay one tray for two." I sigh.

"Great, come on!" Madison takes my hand and walk lead me.

I roll my eyes and following her. My chance to have a big lunch will be ruin because of her. I didnt know she is crazy when she is hungry.

I take the food tray as she walks next to me and get our food from the food buffet.

"You want this spaghetti?" I ask her. She just shakes her head. I take that spaghetti little bit for me. We then keep walking to take another food. "This bread burger?" I ask her.

"Only one." She said.

"Okay." I take that burger and place it on our plate.

We keep walking until we standing in front of the tots and I take some tots to our plate. "Again." Madison says to me. I turn my face at her and frown then take more tots. "Again, Finn." She whimpered.

"Are you crazy?" I roll my eyes and take more tots.

"Once more." She grins at me.

"Luckily, I've been know you since you were little." I sigh and take more tots until our plate and our tray full with tots. "Okay enough." I said to her and walk to find empty table.

"Tots." She grins happily and walk in front of me.

I didnt say anything but built a smile on my face and shake my head. I know since little Madison loves food but she never admit it.

We sit down on an empty table. I look around but I dont see the others here. Madison sit down and I sit down next to her since we share this food.

"Dont take my tots!" She slaps my hand as I want to eat that tots.

"You're hungry or you love this food?" I frown at her.

"Both." Madison giggles. "I cant find this amazing food in London. First time, I tried it, I already love it."

"Okay all these tots is yours." I simply said. "You want drink? Or fruit?" I ask her.

"A box of juice." She nodded.

"I'll be back. Stay here." I said to her and walk away to take the drinks for us.

I walk to the juice corner and take two juice boxes then walk back to our table and Madison cant stop eating that tots.

"Why this food is so delicious? God." Madison says.

"You're hungry so that's taste delicious." I simply said.

"You dont understand so just shut up." She cover my mouth with her hand.

I let out a sigh and push her hand away. I take my plate and about to eat my spaghetti but Madison moves that plate closer to her.

"My tots!" She pouted at me.

"I want to eat my spaghetti!" I groan.

"So there is it. Finn Hudson and-and his new girlfriend."

I turn my face and I see Jesse and Rachel are standing near our table. "I'm not his girlfriend." Madison said while chewing her food.

"Jesse St. James. What are you doing here?" I ask Jesse.

"I will go to the prom with Rachel tonight so see you there. You both look cute with eating together from the same plate." He grins at us and walk off leads Rachel.

I just frown and my gaze follow them. Rachel turns her face at me and looks apology for this. I know Jesse will always be my enemy.

"You didnt ask Rachel to go to the prom with you?" Madison asks me.

"Nope. Ask or not, she will go to the prom with me." I simply said.

"But that guy said..."

"Just forget it. He is psycho."

"Here. Take my tots, broken hearted makes you hungry sometimes." Madison says and give the plate to me.

"You said you're hungry. I'm fine. Looking at you eat this much already make me full." I said to her.

"Nah." She shakes her head. "Open your mouth." She said to me and feed me that tots. "Nice job, McKenzie."

"Seems like I kinda familiar with that name." I raise my eyebrows.

"Of course because that's Gabi's puppy's name." Madison laughs.

"You call me what? Oh you cant beat me!" I said to her and put some tots to her mouth as she is still laughing so hard.

"Finn, I-I...." Madison get choked.

"Here, Maddy. You okay?" I give her a drink.

"You almost kill me!" Madison groan after chewing that food and drink her water.

"1-1." I grin at her.

"You look cute with that vest." She suddenly said.

"W-what?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Nothing. Just forget it, idiot." She simply said and go back eating her food.

I just looking at her and eat the tots. She said I'm cute. I can heard that clearly. I just wanna say that she is beautiful because she always is.

Madison's POV

"Dad, I'm home." I walk enter my house and place my car key to the key box.

"Hey, honey." Dad smiles at me while he reads newspaper in living room.

"Dad..." I walk in and sit down next to my dad on the sofa.

"Yes, princess?" Dad asks me.

"Tonight, there is a prom night in my school for junior. And I...."

"You cant go." Dad simply said and close his newspaper.

"Okay I got it." I nodded and stand up from my seat then walk upstairs to get into my room.

I enter my room and sit down on my bed with my back against the wall. I already can guess that my dad wont let me to go to the prom.

"Honey, I'm so sorry, I dont mean to prohibit you. It's just I dont want something bad happened to you there." Dad walks in and sit down on the edge of my bed.

"That's okay. Besides that I got no dates if I go there. Nobody want to dance with a girl who has broken legs." I said to dad.

"Well, I would." Dad shows me his hand.

"Dad...."

"Come on." Dad takes my hand and want me to dance with him.

I chuckle and standing and dance with him until I feel like my left foot can move and I can walk even dance like this.

"My foot is back to be normal." I giggle.

"See? You need more practice and on Monday you can go back to school without your crutches." Dad smiles at me.

"Yeah finally." I smile back at dad.

"Well, I want to cook for the dinner first okay." Dad says to me and kisses my head.

"Okay." I nodded.

Dad just smiles at me and walk out from my room. I try to move my feet by walking go back and forth in my room and I can do it. Yeah this is such a good thing.

Now I can move my feet and walk and go to anywhere easily. I dont need any help again and I can do it by myself.

I walk to my study table and take my book. It's already evening. The sun already goes down and the dark sky come out. I went home late because Rachel asked me to went to mall for shopping clothes with her.

I open my book and reading it. I'm standing from my seat and walk to the window and standing near the window where I can see Finn's room from here and Finn is open his curtain and seems he is getting ready for the prom.

I'm just looking at his window and built a smile on my face. He tried many suit but it doesnt fit on him I guess. My smile turns into a laugh. Finn is getting fatter, I guess.

Suddenly Finn turns his face to the window. I turn my face and pretend like I'm reading my book then he shows me his notebook and write 'you're not going?'

I take my notebook and my marker then write 'no, my dad doesnt allow me' I show it to him from my window.

Finn write something again on his notebook then show it to me. 'I'll call you later'

I just nodded and smile at him. Finn just half-smiled at me and take his suit then walk off from his room. I turn my face to my book and start reading it while waiting for the dinner time.

I'm sitting down on a bench in a park of my housing area and reading my comic book.

It's Sunday morning and the sun bright and I just love feel this warm air and feel so different.

There are many people jogging or even ride bycicle with their pets or even alone. But I just love sitting down here and looking at the sun.

"Hey..."

"Hey, Finn." I close my book and turn my face at him. "You wake up earlier for jogging? That's not you." I frown at him.

"I'm the quarterback so I have to be fit every day." Finn simply said.

"You said that you wanted to call me that night but you didnt call and I saw you went home earlier. What happened?" I turn my face at Finn.

"I got kicked out from the prom." Finn sighs.

"Why?" I move my seat facing him.

"I fighted with Jesse." Finn said without looking at me.

I hold his chin and cup his cheeks and make him facing me. "I dont see the bruise. Besides if I were him, I would kill you." I laugh.

"You're not helping." Finn rolls his eyes.

"Is it because of Rachel?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah, you can guess so." Finn sighs. "He told me that Rachel loves him then he told me that I'm just a loser and stupid in love. He told me something that made me really mad so I punched him and I got kicked out from the prom."

"Just dont listen to them. The one who knows you is yourself. He just tried to fish your emotion. Just cover your ears and listen to your heart. You know what? All I see from you is you grow up but you become temprament and that's not Finn Hudson who I know. Not everything can be handle by a kick or a hit, Finn. Learn something from this. A hit wont finish everything." I said to Finn.

Finn turn his face at me and looking at me. I raise my eyebrows at him then chuckle and go back turn my face to my book then he put the earphone on my ear.

"Just dont listen to the crowd." Finn says.

"Finn..." I chuckle and shake my head then go back to reading my book.

Finn's POV

"Yeah, you can guess so." I sigh. "He told me that Rachel loves him then he told me that I'm just a loser and stupid in love. He told me something that made me really mad so I punched him and I got kicked out from the prom." I said without looking at her.

I turn my face at her and looking at her. She is wrong. The one who knows me not only myself but also her. She just raise her eyebrows at me then chuckle and go back to reading her book. I take off my earphone from my ear and put the earphone on her ears.

"Just dont listen to the crowd." I said.

"Finn..." Madison chuckles and shakes her head and go back reading her book.

I'm just smiling and looking at this geeky but beautiful girl. Madison makes me feel like my life is back. I dont know when we grow up she become wiser and smarter than she used to.

"Mad, where are your crutches?" I ask and look around.

"I dont need it anymore." She simply said.

"You-you can walk without that crutches?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Yep. Since Friday night, my dad suddenly asked me to dance with him and we start dancing and I can go back to walk normally." She said to me.

"That's cool. Keep my iPod. I wanna go back to jogging." I said to her and stand up from my seat.

"You took my comics book so this is for guarantee." Madison rolls her eyes.

"It's up to you, Maddy." I chuckle and rub her hair then run away.

I run away from her but I turn my face at her and she is still listening to the iPod I gave her and reading her comic book. What a great Sunday morning.

Madison's POV

I walk enter my house then a sound of barking coming. "Daddy?" I look around but then a white puppy run to me and lean on my leg.

"Do you like it?" Aaron smiles at me.

"You got me a puppy?" I chuckle and lift that puppy up.

"Yeah, I hope you'll love it. I remember how much you wanted a puppy so I brough him here for you." Aaron chuckles.

"Aw this is sweet. Thank you so much." I giggle and hug Aaron.

"You're welcome, my princess." Aaron hug me back.

I pull his body away and smile at him and kiss him softly as he kiss me back. "Do you have any name for this puppy?" I ask Aaron.

"Not yet. You can name him with whatever you want." Aaron rubs my hair.

"Okay then what about Mike Wazoski? The green ball monster from Monster. Inc?" I giggle.

"I said you can choose which one you love, baby." Aaron says to me.

"Okay your name is Mike Wazoski from now. And let me show you, your new room." I said to that puppy and lift him up and walk upstairs.

"You really can walk normally right now." Aaron says.

"Like what you see. You miss my first moment when I can go back to walk." I said to Aaron and enter my room.

"You're not a baby." Aaron rolls his eyes.

I place the puppy on the carpet floor near my study table. Then I place my book back to the book rack and save Finn's iPod.

"Is there any earthquake here?" Aaron says and look around.

"I know it's little bit messi." I sigh and take the pillow from the carpet floor and place it to the sofa on the corner and place my book to my book rack.

My room is kinda huge. I got my own bookshelve, my own bathroom, my own wardrobe with a door can connect to my bathroom. My dad was the one who decorate this for me. It's full colour. Every side has different colour and I love it.

"Just kidding. Why you so sensitive these days huh?" Aaron chuckles.

"Because I'm on my period." I simply said and sit down on my bed and turn on the tv.

"Okay dont mad at me. I'm here because I miss you." Aaron sit down next to me.

"Really?" I raise my eyebrows.

"We lived in the same state but I only can see you once a week." Aaron smirks at me.

"Liar. You meet other girls in your college." I simply said.

"But no one of those girls make me fall in love like you did." Aaron smirks at me.

"Ew disgusting." I laugh.

Aaron just laugh then cover my mouth with his mouth and kisses me. I kiss him back and it turns to a make out as him on top of me.

"My dad?" I stop Aaron.

"He went out since an hour ago when I just arrived." Aaron simply said and kiss me again.

"You already have breakfast?" I ask Aaron.

"I did, baby and please can you stop asking me when I'm kissing you?" Aaron rolls his eyes.

"I'm sorry but you know me." I giggle.

"I know the innocent one, super duper geeky but beautiful." Aaron leaves my body and pinch my cheek.

"Aaron!" I groan.

"Haha you're cute." Aaron laughs and give me a quick kiss on my lips then sitting down on my favorite spot next my bed and take a new book. "What is this?"

"A new book I bough last Friday with Rachel." I simply answer.

"Include these painting kit and the kanvas?"

"Yep." I nodded. "Babe, can you help me change this bandage? I cant see it clearly." I said to Aaron and take first aid box.

"Yeah sure for you." Aaron nodded and sit down on the bed in front of me.

I just show him my foot and he takes those first aid things from the box and change my bandage. He is really sweet one.
