Chapter Fourteen
SANDIE LEFT TO go talk to Sebastian and fill him in on what was happening, leaving Carter there to keep an eye on everyone. Destiny watched as he walked out the door, her arms over her chest, worry filling her as the door closed behind him. She wasn’t sure why, but she had a bad feeling, as if all of Sandie’s positive energy was for not. These were people who could just appear through walls. How did he expect to defend against that, even with magical wards?
