“HOW CAN WE be sure this is safe?” Melina asked as she held tightly to Meeko’s hand. “People are trying to hurt my son as well yourself. We should be locked away back at the inn.”
“They’ve only been attacking Meeko when he sleeps,” Destiny said. “Besides, they entered our home back in St. Augustine simply by popping in. I highly doubt being locked in that room will stop them if they’re that determined.”
“And I highly doubt my brother will try something in broad daylight while I’m surrounded by witnesses,” Sandie said, even though he could understand the other lady’s concerns.
