They do exist. They’re not make-believe!” “And did you see that place?” her mother asked, as if they all just hadn’t walked inside a few moments ago. “The people glowed. They actually glowed.” “I’ve never seen so many pinks and purples in one place,” Melina said, shaking her head as she held a large croissant to her lips. “I love the ceiling,” Destiny said around a mouthful of food. “I could have sworn there wasn’t a roof on the place when we first walked in until I looked hard enough and noticed the ceiling was painted to resemble a sky full of clouds.
