Chapter Twenty-One
SANDIE SETTLED BACK in his bed, eager to fall asleep and meet up with Destiny once again, especially after she told him about the run-in with his brother earlier. He wished she would sleep with him in his room but understood her hesitation with her mother right there. It didn’t help that Virginia had caught her daughter slinking back to her room in the middle of the night last night. Still, he longed to hold her again, feel her press against him as he caressed her back. This seemed harder than when they were miles apart.
