"Kill me, oh! You must kill me, today!" Noelle yelled, holding my night dress tightly and not caring that she was hitting me.

I haven't even touched her or hurt her. I only tried to free her strong grip on my long blonde hair, and she concluded that I wanted to kill her.

"You sorceress! Do you want to harm my mother? You almost pushed her to the ground. I will break your head!" Emery yelled, joining her mother. She went to carry the cup of water that I kept there on the dining table for my husband and me to use for our dinner.

Emery then poured the bowl of water on my head and hit the bowl on my head too.

"Bìtch!" She cursed at me, after splashing my body with the cold water.

"What's going on here?" A deep voice silenced everyone and made the two women assaulting me finally let go of me.

Ace stood there by the door entrance, looking at me and his mother coldly. He wore a black suit and a white undershirt. His gaze was dark, as his handsome features were not smiling.

Standing next to him was Naomi Dominic. She wore a red body-con dress that was very revealing her boobs, and highlighted her shape. She paired with black boots, and was hugging Ace, holding unto his left arm like he was going to disappear from her in the next minute.

Ace frowned, and pulled his hand away from Naomi's holding, when he saw me looking at their joined hands.

He looked at me in shock, seeing how disheveled I looked and how the living room was a mess.

"Ace!" Noelle finally let go of me, and rushed up to meet her son, faking her tears, as she told him.

"Ace, this witch pushed me away just now, when I went to confront her about the meals that cooked. She attacked me!" Noelle faked her tears, and this was not the first time she had lied about me to Ace.

"Mom, I'm very tired for tonight," Ace coldly spoke to his mother. "Why would you all be fighting every time in this house? Do you want me to leave here and look for another house?"

Ace walked into the living room, and I lowered my face, avoiding his piercing gaze.

"Ace, I expect you to throw this woman out and divorce her now that your grandfather is no more. Katherine doesn't respect me as her mother-in-law, and she dares to fight me tonight!" Noelle said, her voice quivering like I truly did hurt her.

Her husband and her second son, Nicole, came downstairs, as they could have heard the commotion ongoing in the living room.

"You bìtch! How dare you disrespect my mother-in-law!" Naomi charged at me, and smacked me on my left cheek in the presence of all of them.

I looked at Naomi's face angrily, before looking at Ace, and I fought back my tears, not ready to break down before them.

"I have heard enough of you all!" I yelled, and Naomi jumped back in fret and rushed to clutch Ace by his left arm. As he stood there in the living room, looking at me with disappointment.

"I want a divorce, and I no longer want to continue with this useless marriage!" I yelled, my voice firm. "Grandpa Gideon's no more, and I deserve the right to live a happy life and marriage. I am no longer interested in this stupid marriage, and I will leave your house tonight!"

As I wanted to rush back upstairs, Ace caught me and grasped my left wrist, turning me around to face him.

He glared at me and spat, "You are not going to leave this house. Do you think you can walk away from this marriage? You had the chance to leave when my grandfather was alive, but you accepted it, and now, you think you can walk away and ruin all that I have worked for." Ace laughed out coldly and said, "You wouldn't dare. Apologize to my mother right now and clean up this mess that you have created here in this living room. I will overlook the food that you wasted, but I would not allow you to disrespect my mother. Now, go on your knees and say that you are sorry to her."

Ace ordered, glaring at me. His brown eyes looked at my blue eyes with anger, and I spat on his handsome cold face for the very first time in our marriage.

"To hell with you and your family. I will not apologize to your mother, and you can go on and do your worst," I glared at Ace. "I dare you to raise your hand and touch me. The whole media here in Solaris will hear about us and our marriage!" I warned Ace in a low threatening voice, and he looked at my face with disbelief, like he was seeing a whole new different woman. Compared to my previous calm self.

"Are you threatening me?" Ace asked, holding me firmly as he towered above me. He was very tall, that I could barely reach his shoulder. His brown eyes glaring at me coldly, as he drew his face near mine and asked, "Are you nut?"

I have heard enough of Ace and his entire family bullying me.

"I don't care or give a fúck who you are. But I don't see you as my husband anymore, and I want a divorce!" I yelled back, and Ace laughed out like a maniac and let go of my hand.

"Hahaha! New flash, Kate. You are not getting a divorce," Ace called my short name for the first time. "However, I wouldn't tolerate you disrespecting my mother. Now, apologize to her."

Ace's voice was chilling than before, and I became afraid of him that he would hurt me, or order his bodyguard to do it. If I refused to apologize to his mother.

"Fine. I'm sorry, Ma'am," I apologized to Noelle, even as I was angry.

"That's not the way to apologize to your elder," Ace spat. "Go down on your knees and apologize to my mother properly."

I trembled at Ace's authoritative voice. He didn't use that tone on me before, and I knew that his patience was slowly evaporating.

Shutting my blue eyes, I plopped down on my knees and apologized to Mrs. Noelle.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am."

Noelle rushed up to meet me and smacked me so hard on my left cheek. "You slut! I see you have grown some balls, and I am going to deal with you tonight."

She grabbed a handful of my long blonde hair and yanked it so hard, almost pulling some strings of my hair away.

"Ah!" I cried aloud, feeling my scalp burning, and Noelle smacked my face multiple times and pushed me away on the cold tiles.

I curled up like a ball in the living room, crying on the cold floor, and vowing to get my revenge on this entire Parker's family.
