Chapter 12

1382 Words
Maya's POV I froze. What the hell was happening? And why couldn't I look away? When Anna told me Zakhar wanted me in his study, I purposely took my sweet time getting there, out of spite. But never in a million years did I think I'd walk in and see something like this. One hand fisted in a woman's hair, the other rested on his desk, his d**k deep inside her throat. I had no idea what to do. Then our eyes met. He didn't stop. He didn't even flinch. He just kept his gaze fixed on me, watching every twitch of my face with a dark, hungry, predatory stare. She must have noticed the shift. Her eyes fluttered open, and the moment she saw me, her eyes widened. She tried to pull back, but he only shoved her head down harder, burying himself completely in her while his eyes never left mine. My breath hitched as I stood there, completely frozen, unable to look away. A low, guttural groan came out of him as he leaned back in the chair, hips rolling. “f**k…” The study suddenly became too hot. Heat bloomed low in my belly and sank straight between my legs. What the f**k was happening? I needed to leave this place, fast. “Don't,” he said, voice rough, like he'd read the thought straight off my face. My heart hammered against my ribs as those blue eyes remained fixed on me, his glasses nowhere to be seen. I didn't know what was happening, but I knew I was under his spell. What, slick sounds filled the room—her throat working around him, spit sliding down his very impressive length—but he didn't look at her, not even a glance. His eyes stayed on me. Just me. They were on me as he thrust into her, hard. He f****d her mouth harder, deeper, eyes never leaving me. They were on me as he slammed his hand on the desk as he groaned in pleasure. They were on me. It felt like I was the one sucking him off, not her. A helpless whimper slipped out of me at the thought. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think. My entire body felt like it was on fire. My p*ssy throbbed, clenching around nothing while my nails bit into my palms and my teeth sank on my lower lip. This was wrong on so many levels, but a part of me liked how wrong it was. No, not a part—all of me. There was something about the way he looked at me that made me feel powerful, and I wanted more. What the hell was I saying? His breath came in short, ragged gasps that matched the brutal pace of his hips. Sweat glistened on his forehead; his throat bobbed as he slammed into her with raw, animalistic force, each thrust harder than the last. Then his head tipped back slightly, pulse bulging out in his neck. A harsh, guttural sound tore out from him. “Fffuck!” Even then, his hazy eyes remained fixed on me before he closed them. His body turned stiff as he came, c*m coating her lips. His eyes found mine again. They were hooded, but that predatory glint was still there. His ragged breathing filled the room before he composed himself and fastened his trousers. “Get out.” I immediately snapped out of my stunned daze. Huh? Was he talking to me? “Get out,” he repeated, but he wasn't looking at me. It was the woman who had sucked him off. What?! She got up, smiling dreamily at him, wearing the tightest and tiniest outfit I'd ever seen in my life. But her figure—Goddamn. Even in the clothes she had on, she looked like a regal fairytale queen, with those long, silky platinum-blond locks and baby blues. She had the face and height of a model. Zakhar sure has taste. Unfortunately. She picked up her things and headed toward the door, still wearing that dreamy smile. I stepped aside to let her pass. As she walked by me, she glared at me before glancing back at Zakhar, with a sultry smile. “See you later,” she purred. He didn't answer or pay her any attention. His attention already shifted to me. Of course. The moment the door closed behind her, the room went quiet, and my mind wandered back to what had happened just minutes ago. My face immediately flushed red. Oh, God. What is happening to me? I'm not someone who gets crushes or believes in love, let alone feels attracted to anyone. I've only been focused on one thing and one thing alone: getting revenge for my parents. So today was really unlike me. I couldn't explain what had gotten into me, and honestly, I didn't want to. But all I know is, I'm not taking my eyes off the prize. Never. “Are you planning on standing there all day?” Zakhar's bored voice snapped me out of my thoughts. He looked at me, an eyebrow raised. “What?” I frowned. “You've been staring at me for the past few minutes.” Well, s**t. “I wasn’t staring, I was thinking of ways to murder you. Yeah, that's right,” I rambled. “Tell that to your flushed face.” Fucking stupid body. I realized he was fully out of his seat as my eyes trailed down to his body. My eyes dropped to his pants, looking for any signs of what happened earlier. “Malenkaya gadyuka.” How did that thing fit in without any problem? I mean, I couldn't see everything, but from the glimpse of what I got, it was just so— “Maya.” “Uh-huh,” I replied, clearly not paying attention. “My eyes are up here.” I blinked, then looked up to find Zakhar staring at me with an amused look. Kill me now. I've never wanted the floor to open up and swallow me whole. My face turned a bright shade of red. I swear if I was given a mirror, I'd look like a tomato. I quickly looked away, pretending the books on his shelf were suddenly the most interesting things in the world. “Don't flatter yourself,” I grumbled. A quiet chuckle came out of him. I snapped my head toward him, my ears must have been messing with me. And yup, he was totally smiling. My mouth practically hit the floor. “You’re laughing?” I asked in disbelief. That only made him chuckle even more, before he burst into a full-blown laughter. His laugh was deep, annoyingly attractive, and surprisingly warm. His eyes crinkled, making him look younger. I stared at him, completely stunned. Who knew the blue-eyed asshole was actually capable of laughing? Seeing him like this short-circuited my brain. Wait, what?! Eventually, his laughter faded, leaving behind a small smile. He walked around his desk before sitting on the edge, something in his hand. Then I realized it was a phone. My phone? “Come here, Malenkaya gadyuka.” I eyed him suspiciously. “Why? And can you stop calling me that?” “Just come here, woman,” he ordered, his smile gone now. Looks like we're back to asshole mode. I scowled at him before slowly walking toward him. When I reached him, I stopped a few feet away and crossed my arms. “What?” He held up the phone. “It's yours. I already saved my number in it. Don't call unless you’re in a life-or-death situation,” he said. I stared at the phone in my hand. He actually got me a phone. “I see you found the clothes I got you,” he said, scanning me from head to toe. I was dressed in a fitted black T-shirt, dark jeans and ankle boots to match. They fit me like a glove. There was just one problem. “How did you know my size for, well… everything?” I asked. “We're going out,” he announced, getting up from the desk, completely ignoring my question. “Why? Where?” “To start your new job.”
