As was reported in yesterday's newspaper, our friend and colleague Carla Garibaldi, who has been dealing with the case of the Ear Monster for some time, was attacked `as she was leaving home two evenings ago, around 6 pm, to come to the newspaper. It happened in the underground garage of the building a moment before she got into her car. The attacker, whose face was hidden by a balaclava, attempted to kill her with an ice pick, just as happened to all the Ear Monster’s victims.
