ENEMIES THEN LOVER

THE NEW BEGINNING the rain poured heavily as Elena walked through the gates of west bridge university, holding her bag tightly against her chest New school. New city. New people New beginning That wat she kept telling herself. After everything that had happened in her old school Elena had made herself one promise. No drama. She wasn't looking for popularity. she wasn't looking for friends. And most importantly she wasn't looking for trouble She just wanted to study, graduate and build a better future for herself. Unfortunately trouble has already noticed her. As she hurried across the crowed campus, someone suddenly bumped into her shoulders Her books fell to the ground Seriously? Elena muttered. Watch where you're going. She looked up. A tall boy stand in front of her, dressed in the university's dark jacket. His expression was completely calm. As if he hadn't just walked straight into her Elena stared at him. " You bumped into me " He glanced at the book on the floor before looking back at her "And? Her eyebrows rose. "And you could at least apologize " The boy gave a small, amused smile " Sorry " There was absolutely no sincerity in his voice. Elena picked her books. "Wow. you really need lessons in some manners " His smile disappeared. "And you really need to learn when to stop talking" "Elena frozed" "Oh, trust me. I wasn't planning on talking to again" She walked away. Behind her, the boy watched her disappear into the crowd. For some reason he smiled. "interesting " --- Later that morning. Elena entered her first lectured hall and a choose a seat near the window. She took her note book and tried to calm her nerves. A few moments, later the professor walk in. "Good morning everyone." "Good morning sir." The professor placed his book on the desk. "Before we begin, I have an announcement. This semester you'll be working in pairs for your major project." Elena sighed quietly. She hated projects. The professor began calling out names. "Elena Williams." She looked up. "–– and Adrian cole" Her eyes widened. No. She slowly turned towards the door. The same boy from earlier walked into the classroom. He stopped when he saw her. Their eyes meet. His expression changed into a look of disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me", Elena whispers. Adrian walked toward her. "looks like you're stuck with me." Elena folded her arms. "I'd rather fail". He pulled out the chair beside her. "Good luck with that." She glared at him. "I already don't like you." Adrian leaned back in his chair. "The feeling is mutual." Neither of them noticed the professor watching them with an amused smile. "Since you two seem to have plenty of energy", he said "I'm expecting the best project from you." The class laughed. Elena covered her face with her hands. This was supposed to be her fresh start. Instead she had just met the one person she couldn't stand. And somehow, she had a feeling Adrian cole was going to be a much bigger part of her life than she wanted TO BE CONTINUED
