TICKING CLOCK
Marco ignored all the speed limits as he raced to Bella’s workplace. If anything happened to Bella, he’d never forgive himself. She was everything to him, and he should’ve protected her more. He shouldn’t have let her out of his sight. Too late now. He had to get to her before anything happened to her.
He rushed out of his car and banged on Bella’s door at her workplace. He huffed, noticing the blinds were drawn. No response. He banged again, but nothing. Oh, Christ! He had to get to that location.
Stepping back into his car and driving off, his phone buzzed. He responded on his Bluetooth. “Tim, sorry. I couldn’t wait. I told John to call for back-up but I had to rush here.”
