SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT
Bella stood in front of the Year 9 class, waving her hands about. She clicked the light pro and on the screen appeared a number of scenarios that demonstrated bullying and cyberbullying behaviours. Young students put up their hands and explained how similar situations had occurred to them. The female teacher, Sherry Martin, who had not been there when she attended this school, sat on the side and watched. She was an older woman with grey hair tied up in a bun.
Bella was happy to oblige her old school principal’s request for this presentation as she’d had both the experience and training in this specialised area.
