As Marco took wide strides towards the principal’s office inside the school building with Tim, he spotted Bella. Heat radiated through his chest and his hands tingled. God, she was gorgeous, particularly when she blushed like that.
“Detectives. What are you doing here?”
Marco suppressed a smile. “We’re here on official police business, Bella.”
“I see.” Her eyes remained glued to his until the spell was broken.
Tim intervened. “Ms Carismo. We’ll be seeing you.”
