Kieran swore, and jerked the steering wheel first one way and then the other, as he fought to avoid the oncoming car that appeared out of the rain and the darkness and keep the car he had stolen on the road.
Somehow, he managed to avoid crashing, though he knew that both cars had been damaged during the collision. The damage didn’t bother him. He didn’t care one bit about the other car, and the only concern he had for his own was how the damage affected the car’s ability to be driven.
