25 Stakeout Raedrick pulled his blanket around his shoulder and hunkered down, trying not to notice the steadily dropping temperature or the ice and snow that had accumulated in the bottom of the boat despite the tarp that had covered it for the winter. At least the chill would help him stay awake, and hopefully alert. He had only delayed coming to the dock to stop by his flat and grab a blanket, but even that small delay had filled him with nervousness. That was irrational, of course; it was still just twilight and the thieves would not be foolish enough to come retrieve their loot while there was still light out.
