26 Springing The Trap When Julian returned to The Oarlock, he found the taproom mostly empty, a far cry from the bustle it had the previous two nights. The locals had all gone off to bed and, for a change, most of the caravaners had as well. That made sense; they were set to leave first thing in the morning. The lack of crowd was actually refreshing, after the last couple of days. That was good, little chance he would bump into anyone who needed him, or the Marshalls.
