Strong Obsession

A bad night but Esther just sees it just to have been turned into at least a bearable one due to Brian's presence. She has not fallen asleep at all as she thinks of anything that comes in her mind. She sees no future at all and everything was not turning out the way she wanted her life to turn out. She was one focused lady who lived a very unique life and now she was at the edge of something unusual. She was experiencing weird feelings at the moment and needed not to be alone at all. Her prayers seemed to have been answered even without asking and was very at peace now because she atleast had a shoulder to lean on.

Brian is given a visitors room to spend the night and is escorted by Peter. They pass by sister Esther's room and as they head to the visitors room and Brian suddenly feels so weird.

He feels like stopping and checking up on her but he has no option but to wait till the next day so he could at least see her. He was so obsessed with her and now he was very much close to her than never but he just cant see her anyhow.

"Have a good night sir, in case of anything i will be down stairs" Peter says as he opens for him the room.

"Its okay Peter, am so humbled i think i will be okay now let me just get some little rest we will meet tomorrow" he waves back and closes the door slowly. He looks for the switch and turns on the lights and the room was not that bad after all. It was well arranged but seemed to have stayed so long without anybody around. Their were possibilities that it could be having some rats or maybe crawling creatures since Brian heard some sqeuking noises each and every time and he knew he was going to have a long night. He sits on the bed holding his head and he feels very tired though he does not find it to be easy to sleep at all. All he has on his head is nothing but love, he was craving for Esther's love so bad that he cannot imagine that he is now in a room in the orphanage. He had to do something or even make that weird step and it did not matter to him of any outcome. He was ready and well prepared for anything. The possibilities of his love breaking their close relationship was too high, the possibilities of Esther taking it positively and falling back for him in return was almost impossible at all but he did not have any other options since it seems that he was carrying a huge load in his heart and had to release it as soon as possible. After lying down for around one hour, he notices it is around midnight and does not get any sleep and he has been overthinking all along. He decides to get up and go outside to catch some fresh air since it was now getting hot in the room.

He walks down the stairs and everything is now quiet except for a radio that was left open through out the night playing songs over and over again and it could be heard from a distance. He approaches the hallway and sees Peter sitting on the far end and walks towards him.

"Everything is quiet after all, it seems so calm at night than it is during the day" Brian says as he takes a seat next to peter.

"Yeah, it is beautiful out here today, so calm, well i thought you were asleep Brian its so late" Peter wonders now that it was too late and almost everybody was asleep.

"I can't sleep Peter, with everything that is going through, it is so hard to close my eyes, all i can hear is his voice talking, he was now becoming more than a friend to me too" Brian says while getting emotional.

"We are all affected Brian, infact the all thing just hit me unexpected, i feel sorry for the kids, things could get so different now that father Edward is no more".

It was indeed true what Peter was saying, father Edward was the strongest pillar of the orphanage and now that he is missing this were hoing to take a different path. The children lost hope and felt to be so lonely since he was their only parent after all. Brian and Peter stay till late night talking and sharing a lot of stories. They seem to be understanding each other and they were not much of a difference since they were almost agemates and their life stories almost looked the same. Brian becomes echausted and leaves to go back to his room and try sleeping once more.

"See you tomorrow pal" he leaves and heads upstairs to his room. He stops next to Esther's room and stand in front of her door. He raises his hands to knock on the door but he does not knock at all. He did not know what he wanted to tell her in case she opened. He comes back to his mind and goes ahead to his room. On the other side of Esther's room was Esther leaning on the door, she was not asleep at all and was aware of everything, she knew it was Brian standing in front of her door. She sits down her back on the door and places her head on her hands tears rolling down feom her eyes. She did not know what was happening to her at all. She had never experienced a passionate feeling before and for once in her life she felt that she was attracted to a man. She totally did not know what was in Brian's mind but she just hopped he felt the same way. Everything was turning and sister Esther was going to walk a different path in her life.
