~Chapter One~ The intro
Usually I never trust anybody.
I don’t even trust my own family.
But one thing I learned from experience is to never trust anyone.
My name is Jasper and I’m twenty-two years old. You may not be interested but I have teal hair, tan skin, and brown eyes. I’m also 6’1. I figured if I’m writing about my experiences that I should probably give you some information about what I look like. I have a girlfriend who is also my childhood friend, her name is Kaiylee. I love her so much. She has red hair, amber eyes, pale skin, and she is 5’4. Kaiylee is the same age as me as well.
Today is April 6, 2047. The day me and Kaiylee are going to a festival for a date together, she loves those places, but it freaks me out. I got out of my car and walked towards her door quickly since she’s the impatient type. When I knocked the door flew open without warning as if she was waiting just right there, to be fair she probably was.
“What took you so long?!”, Shouted Kaiylee
“Sorry. There was some traffic and you said to not be here until at least nine.”
“Well cause I thought you’d be earlier than that…” She whined
I then led her to the car and she impatiently ran into the passenger seat and quickly put the seatbelt on. “Impatient are we?”, I said teasingly. All Kaiylee did was look at me and nod. She was practically vibrating in the seat from excitement and anticipation, it was cute honestly since she’s never like this. There was only one problem. In our world there are heros and villains, superpowers, mutants… everything honestly. I’m one of those heroes even though I’m a bit young to be one. I’ve never told anyone about it since if they knew who knows that they would do. Anyways, my hero name is ghost head. I know. Kinda corny. But it was what I wanted to use since childhood and it’s fitting surprisingly because my power allows me to become invisible and phase through anything I want to. Not everybody has powers. Only the fortunate which makes me lucky. Very.
Kaiylee closed her door and I practically ran to the other side since I knew she’d get cranky if I didn’t get her there fast enough and it doesn’t bother me since like I said. We’ve been friends since childhood. Friends to lovers to make it easier if you don’t understand. Once we arrived she threw the door open, came to my side, opened my door, and pulled me out since I forgot to buckle because of her eagerness and impatience to get to the festival.
“Come onnn!”, she said impatiently
“I’m coming, I’m coming!”
“Well not fast enough! You’re not moving your feet!”
All I did was laugh, “I am walking! Your just running”
Kaiylee then looked at her feet and then back up at me, “Oh, your right”, she smiled and then continued dragging me inside the festival area.
