As soon as I was done talking with Brax, I headed to the library to start working out a way to bring Ava back; Pearl joined me. She thought having two people reading would be better than one. I had to promise her that I wouldn't zone out and let my powers overtake me, which was a lot easier said than done. It also meant reading was a lot slower than it could have been, but I accepted the help, knowing this was not something that I could do on my own.
We spent hours pouring over books, researching different spells and rituals that could potentially bring Ava back. Drawing her spirit out of my necklace was the easy part; the hard part was going to be finding a way to put her spirit into something since we didn't know where her body was, and from everything I had read, it wasn't a good idea
