Thorns and roses

Harley was looking outside her window lost in her thoughts when suddenly the pilot announced that they have reached their destination and are preparing to land . She was visiting her parents and grandparents after a very long time since her grandfather was very sick for a very long time and was on his deathbed and he asked for harley to come back home as he had some important announcement to make . Harley belonged to a very rich mafia family and her family ruled the southern lands of the country . Harley’s family was very worried about her safety so they sent her away to study in london . Harley was the only girl in the family , a family with dozens of enemies . She had a dusky skin tone , she was 5 feet 6 inches and a mole on her chin and when she smiled her dimples would brighten up her face with bangs on her forehead . When her private jet landed she took her brown fur coat in her hands stood up and decended through the stairs of her jet , there dozens of bodyguards were waiting for her as she came down from her jet . They greeted her “ good afternoon Ma’am” without making any eye contact and looking down and then took her luggage and escorted her to her suv which was already there waiting for her on the runway . One of her guards opened the door for her and she got inside and sat at the back seat comfortably while her bodyguard and driver sat in the front seat and drove her to her parent’s mansion . Through her entire ride to home she was lost in her thoughts . Harley was a very quite and calm girl and one reason she was living in london is because she never liked all of this mafia game between her family and their northerner enemies . Harley always wanted to study law and become a successful lawyer and look after her family’s affairs , though she was very quiet and never liked any kind of violence but she was also very brave and confident . As she was reaching her home the suv of her guards which was coming after her got attacked , suddenly she hears a very loud sound “BAM” she turns her face and looks behind and she sees two more cars chasing after her suv . Her driver speeds up the car but then suddenly a black car comes from somewhere and hits her suv , her head collided with her window and started bleeding and she became unconscious . When she gained her consciousness she saw a man with a muscular body holding her on his shoulders and her suv was burning like a wooden log and soon she became unconscious again . When she gained her consciousness again she saw that she was lying on a bed in a very big room with big windows and a very big front door that room looked almost like a master bedroom to her , she got up from the bed with a throbbing pain in her head , she caressed her head and tried to open her eyes when she heard a voice coming from downstairs like a man shouting on others . She tried to listen to them carefully Man 1 - you fool why did you bring her here in our house have you totally lost your mind ! Do you even know what this means ? This means we openly declared war on russo’s ( harley’s family ) . That girl upstairs in your room is harley russo the daughter of our enemies the heir to their empire whom they have sworn to declare the heir to their family throne ! Man 2 - dad please stop it i am already very tired after our today’s victory you should be thanking me , in exchange for her they will do anything and everything we ask them to do , she is our golden ticket . We can keep her with her until they do every last thing we ask them and our sea route which they captured last month will be back in our grasp under our command again ! If they will play dirty we can make this game dirtier ! She then heard a sound like someone slapped the other and then heard someone climbing up the stairs in anger she could hear the thudding of the shoes and then she sees that someone was trying to open the door , she takes a few steps back and falls on the bed ! A man 6 feet and 2 inches tall enters the room and makes eye contact with her ! Oh ! So you are up already i thought you won’t be able to wake up till next day morning ! The voice of this man was very deep and scary , he had a head full of neatly cut hair and a well fitted white shirt and the sleeves were neatly folded which he was wearing with a pair of black pants ! She jumped up from her bed and walked towards this man and gave him a tight slap ! He groaned and then looked at her , she could see the anger in his eyes and tell that he was going to inflict so much pain on her ! He grabbed her hair and then threw her on the bed ! Then he shouted a russo should know the consequences of touching a Giordano ! This man standing in front of her was Mario Giordano himself the mafia boss of the Giordano family , the biggest enemy of the russo family , mario’s father had just named him the boss last month . He then shouts out for his right hand Luca and asks him to bring the sedative . Harley got very scared and tried to run away and she was fast she learnt all the self defence when she was a child aa this was very important for her to learn as she knew the harsh realities of her family mario ran after her and while running downstairs he finally got hold of her . He grabbed her arms and pulled her towards himself ! She was so small in front of this man that her head collided with his chest and she groaned in pain , mario grabbed her tightly and signalled luca to bring the injection filled with sedative , mario her tightly from behind while luca tilted her head and emptied it into the side of her neck ! Boss this will last up-till tomorrow evening and you don’t need to worry about her , if you want i will have her shifted to some other room so you will not be disturbed . No she will stay in my room in front of my eyes luca she is way too important for us right now I cannot let her out of my sight ! Harley heard them talking while slipping into her sleep in mario’s arms ! He then lifted her up and took her to his room and put her down on his bed . He then went inside his washroom and got freshen up changed his clothes , came back and lied down on his bed by harley’s side and fell asleep . The next day harley gained her consciousness around afternoon . Her lips were dry and she was thirsty she tried to got up from bed when suddenly she saw mario sitting on a chair by the window and doing some paper work , he was not wearing anything but a lower ! Harley then slightly removed her blanket and checked her clothes and she was wearing different clothes from what she was wearing yesterday ! Don’t worry I haven’t touched you , i asked my house help miss. Jones to do it . I have no interest in touching you i have slept with several girls like you before . Harley got angry but did not said anything to him as she knew that he is not letting her leave anytime soon so she gulped her anger and put her feet on the floor . Mario then told her that there is a glass of water by her side and she should have it . She took that glass and drank all the water in one go . Elsewhere harley’s father was very angry at his men as due to their ignorance and carelessness mario and his men entered their territory and took harley with them . Harley’s father Alessandro russo was very angry and had already shot two of his men for their carelessness . Do everything they want and bring my daughter back nowwwww ! He shoited in frustration and anger . Harley asked mario as to why are they keeping her hostage in his room and what do they want from her . You know my family hates your family and my father is already on his way to take me back , he will kill all of you for doing this to me ! You really think that i am that kind of fool who would keep you in open in my actual mansion ? Huh ! And they say that you are the future of russo family ! Look outside this window rose you would know the truth ! Harley came close to the window and looked outside to find out that they were on an island ! We are all alone here with few servants and my right hand luca ! Nobody knows about this place rose except me and luca even the servants were brought here with their eyes closed ! You are not leaving this place until your father fulfils my each and every demand . Harley stares outside the window for sometime and then collapses on him ! He catches her and takes her in his arms and puts her on the bed ! He calls luca upstairs and asks him to bring the doctor along with him . Luca comes with doctor and the doctor tells mario that harley has a minor heart condition due to which the sedative reacted badly but there is nothing to worry about as the effect of the sedative has already worn off ! He gave harley some shots and asked luca to ask someone to look after her for 24 hours . Luca then called miss jones and asked her to take care of her for some time and not to leave her sight ! He then takes mario outside ! Boss i have some news for you can we talk in private asks luca ! He nods his head and then they leave the room ! Boss this girl’s family has many enemies and one of them got our address and reached our island after this girl ! I am not worried about that guy but if this party can find our hideout then i fear her father will find us soon ! Don’t worry luca i have security on high alert nobody can find out that she is here with us on this island ! My security will shoot them on sight as they have done to this guy ! This girl is my responsibility and i will not let anyone harm her ! The only person to harm her will be a Giordano only ! Mario then asked luca to find out about that man who sneaked into this island after her and then left the place ! Luca then asked his men to bring that guy to the torture room and asked them to get the room ready for that man ! Luca leaves the room to extract information from that man as to who gave him the address to this island and how he got here !!!!
