"So, what did you two do in my absence?" Rowan asked, leaning on the counter as I took an apple.
They had come in quite early, but even though Rowan had just come off a flight, he was made to do his training so I had been alone upstairs for a while until I decided to get something to eat. He had come into the kitchen right after I found some water. He was still dressed in the sweat pants and t-shirt he had trained in.
"Beach." I replied.
"Saw that, what else?" he asked.
“Saw?” I asked.
“A prince diving into the ocean to save someone does not go unnoticed, neither does his ‘Secretary’” Rowan replied, "Especially when he's hugging her." He added with a frown.
