I stared at the book I had been trying to read for the past hour, but I couldn’t seem to get past the first few words on the page as I kept drifting into thought. I had woken up with a sickly worrying feeling that something bad was going to happen, or something bad had happened. Just like I had when Rowan was home. I had called him to check up on him and he was okay. I had called my Uncle, Kennedy and Olivia but they were okay as well. It was like a heavy feeling of impending doom that was making it hard for me to breathe.
