Things seemed to race by in the couple of weeks leading up to Corin’s coronation. My uncle and Tony had moved back home as Brandon said he was going to try to focus on rebuilding the restaurant.
Corin had been quite busy, but we were together for at least a couple of hours every day, playing with Nix or just talking to each other. We were becoming much more comfortable with each other and he had realised I was quite clumsy and I sucked at keeping expensive clothing – or any clothing I wore, really – clean while I realised the reason he was so quiet was because he seemed to go over what he was going to say quite a few times before he actually said it, it usually made him say nothing at all either because it was no longer needed or he just thought it was too much effort.
