Leo’s POV:
I watched in shock as my mate ran from the door way and into the house. I heard her foot steps go up the stairs and o knew I should be going after her, but I couldn’t, my feet were rooted to the spot.
“I swear to the goddess above that if you do not MOVE YOUR DAMNED FEET I am going to run you to a pack of rogues and forcibly shift you human and leave you there until your half dead.” Samson’s voice roared through my head. “Do not try me! Get your ass up those stares and calm our mate or for all that is holy I will murder you my damn self!”
I heard nothing. I saw nothing. All that I could do was think. “She’s to good for me. She’s to innocent. She’s to pure. When I tell her what I have done she will reject me. I don’t deserve her.”
