"Are we there yet, daddy?" My little sister Zoe asks for the hundredth time. "Not yet baby girl." My dad replies. "How much longer?" My brother Jordan asks. "About twenty more minutes then we will be at the new house and we can all get out." Dad says while reaching over to grab my mom's hand while smiling at her. Sooner than I expected, we pull into a driveway to a giant three story house with a huge yard and lots of trees. As we all get out of the car, my parents pull me to the side and let my siblings take off to look around. They were trying not to smile. "What's going on?" I ask. "Your dad and I were thinking, and we've decided it's time for you to have your own room and that you can be responsible enough to have your own pet." Mom says smiling. I stare at them waiting for them to say what they want in return. "But," my dad continues, "you have to have good grades for at least 2 weeks before we get you a dog or whatever it is you want." I roll my eyes at the last part. "Dad, I'm a straight 'A' student and have been my whole live, that's not going to be a problem." My mom laughs and hugs me. "We know sweetie, but we still want to see it encase you decide to not keep with the program." I smile. "Anything for you, mom." She smiles and yells to my siblings. "Are y'all ready for school?!" I look at my dad and he just shakes his head. I groan inward but grab my backpack out of the trunk where I always leave it and get into the front seat, setting my bag in the floorboard. Mom gets in the driver seat and my siblings get in the back griping about have to go to school after being in the car for hours. We drive to this big school, I'm assuming is the highschool, and stop. Mom tells the other two to stay in the car while me and her walk inside to get my schedule and for me to be enrolled.
