Winter.

By the time the bus arrives at the school, I see a new kid walking in. I know he is new because I know every kid in the school. I'm not popular or anything by any means but I know who is who and their status. So he was obviously new. I'm guessing the lady with him is his mom, but I'm not sure. As soon as I get off the bus I see my friend Evan sitting at the bench we always sit at, so I walk over. He welcomes me with one of his famous warm hugs. He might be gay but he gives me the warmest hugs I've ever had. He's like the big brother I'll never have. "How's my favorite girl?" He asks squeezing a little. "Great, being I had to take the bus. You know I thought things would be different being it's senior year." I say with a small chuckle. He takes my hand and spins me in a circle and stops when I'm facing the school. "The principal asked me to have you go to the office, so get your sweet self in there and see what he wants at this dreadful hour of the morning." Evan says laughing. I laugh, I'm the principals favorite. He said so himself, I'm the only person who talks to him and has a genuine conversation with him without having to be in trouble. I walk into the school and straight to the principals office. "Hey there, Winter! Just the girl I wanted to see!" I give a small chuckle. "Hey, Principal Bailey, how are you?" I ask as I sit in the chair I always sit at to talk to him. "I'm great," he says "I have a favor to ask of you." I look up from my coffee. "As long as it has nothing to do with the football teams laundry then I'll do it." I say laughing. He laughs. "As I'm sure your aware, we have a new student joining us this year, and I would like for you to show him around the school and to his classes." I nod at his request and give a small smile. "I wouldn't mind at all, Mr. Bailey. Anything I can do to help." He stands up smiling and I rise from my chair as well. We walk into the front office and I come face to face with the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen. I can't seem to look away even as Mr. Bailey introduces us. "This is Winter Snow, my favorite and most trusted student." I give a small smile and a slight wave. "Winter, this is Tristan Stone." He hold out his hand. As I go to shake his hand, I get shocked with electricity. I try to ignore it but the longer my hand touches his the shock becomes stronger. He, then, gives me an irresistibly hot smile and pulls away. "I'm Rosaly Stone, I'm glad to know my son will be in good hands here, Miss Snow." She takes my hand into hers and shakes it, thankfully, no electricity. "It's my pleasure Mrs.Stone, but please, call me Winter." She smiles and turns to Tristan. "I'll be here to pick you up at about 4, ok?" He nods and kisses her cheek, a simple gesture of appreciation but it makes me smile a little. "I'll be fine mom, I promise." He extends his are to the door for me to pass him. "Shall we?" He asks. I smile and give a small laugh. "We shall." We walk out of the office both laughing. Even though I only know his name and nothing else about him I feel like everything will be just fine. Or so I thought.
