Heart Bound

Episode 4

Lucas's POV

I was thinking about the sweet memories of that girl 'Emily'. Somehow she draws me towards her. Suddenly I started to feel uneasiness in my body. As if I was in some kind of a pain but wasn't able to figure out the source of the pain. Suddenly a sharp pain engulfed my body as if my heart was pierced with a sharp arrow. I couldn't take it anymore. I lost control over my body. My body began to heat up as if I was on a defensive mode. I ran towards the lawn of the house, I know it was forbidden for us to shift while we are still among humans but I could not control anymore and shift into my Dragon form!

Emily's POV

I was feeling a sharp pain in my head. I tried to open my eyes but felt that they might have blindfolded me. My eyes were feeling heavy and I was in a daze. I tried to remember what happened but felt tired. I can vaguely remember the incidents and felt that I might be in a van or something as it was shaking slightly. I tried to free my hands but I was drained out of energy and again blacked out.

Lucas's POV

I was flying up in my dragon form. I tried to camouflage myself as much as I can using the night sky. I don't know where I was going or what I was searching for! As if these were my instinctive reflexes. The streets were almost empty suddenly a black van caught into my sight. There was something strong coming from that van on which my body was reacting. Something like a strong wave was coming from that thing. I needed to find out. As soon as the van passed the main streets and entered into a dark alley, I landed just before the van turning into my human form. My sudden appearance startled the driver and he braked hard creating a scrunched sound.
