Heart Bound

Episode 1

After the birthday celebration of her GM, Emily was happy particularly. Emilly called her GM in short for God-mother. Because she knew how much effort this woman has given to raise her up and they were not even blood-related. Yes, Emily knew how her GM found her. Till the age of 10, she was told that her parents died in a car accident but as she was growing up, she looked for any evidence that relates her to her parents and she was becoming more and more frustrated and disheartened. Marianna noticed that. She knew the minds of these children very well and she knew how Emily was. So, one day while she and Marianna were taking a walk near the lake beside their home, Marianna explained to her. At first, Emily was too disheartened but when she thought about how this woman raised her up, her heart lit up. From that day, she swore in her mind that from today this woman is her only home and she will love her GM with all her heart and she will give her every comfort that she deserves. That is why Emily studies very hard and dreams to be a doctor in the future.

Emily studies in 'A-city high school' which is a prestigious school of city-A and all the rich kids study here, but Emily is indeed a scholarship student, and to maintain her scholarship she needs to keep her grades up, and soon she is going to graduate. But Emily was lucky to find Lana Laquintta, her best friend. Though she was rich enough, she never looked down on others. Lana even saved Emily several times from the richy rich snobs.

It was a regular day at school and today's history class was very interesting for Emily. It was about the legends of this city, "The Dragons". Many people consider it as a myth nowadays but Emily always had an immense attraction towards these mythological creatures. She even dreamt of them several times. Funny it is. Emily was lost in her thoughts and suddenly she realized that Lana was calling her in a low voice. She then faced Lana, "What is it? Concentrate", Lana gave a slight push on her arms and signaled her to look at the teacher. But when she shifted her gaze towards the teacher's place, she directly looked to those dark eyes. She was suddenly dumbfounded and her heart was throbbing loudly inside her as if it is going to come out. The teacher's voice suddenly interrupted her. Then she shifted her gaze from those dark eyes. The teacher announced that he was an exchange student to complete his last semester and his name was "Lucas Black".
